Gtx 285
- Pros: Card is very powerful with 240 stream processors and an extre buffer give you the chance to run games at higher resolutions without dropping frame rates. Play Crysis at dx10 at a resolution of 1280*1024 with 30 fps. This card breaks all the other games apart.
- Cons: pricey, other then that worth every dime.
WOW!!!
- Pros: Runs Crysis, Crysis Warhead, Batman Arkham Asylum...ALL on maxed settings wuth NO hang-ups at all! Geez... I haven't even overclocked them yet!( I may not even have to...lol!) OC utilities are easy as pie to use!
- Cons: Doesn't do my laundry or dishes...lol!
- Other Thoughts: System:

Black Screen
- Pros: All my games are on High, no slow downs. Completely destroyed my old 8800 GTX
- Cons: The first card I had for only two months before I started to get the dreaded black screen, had to RMA it back.
Got the new one in August and worked till early October. Knowing I would be building a new i5 rig for Xmas I called tech support to get me a new one fast. I was told the first card was fine and it was put through multiple stress tests and passed. So he told me to wait for my new computer and see if it works, saying the card will most likely not be the problem.
Well three days after I built my new computer I was playing WoW and got the Black screen again. I have underclocked it to factory settings and put fan at 100%, nothing. This makes two cards that are defected, just my luck.
- Other Thoughts: I really dont want to RMA it just to have another one break. I will be putting in my old reliable 8800 GTX for the time being, saving money and making the switch to ATI. From what I have been reading the Nvidia 200 series has been riddled with defected units and I don't like to buy multiple products because a company can't fix a well known problem. I am not blaming EVGA, this is a problem will all the GTX's, EVGA has some of the best tech support out there, but I am not going waist my time and money on a product that has failed two times on me.
