very nice
- Pros: Great card, tons of memory, GTX chip. suberb graphics, huge difference from my GTS 250 I upgraded from, which is still a nice card and bought from the egg
- Cons: 4 to 1 memory to bit interface has always baffled me, ATI does it also, lets get a 1 to 1 please, how about 1 GB memory and 1 GB bit. they have not made a 1 to 1 since ATI came out with the 2900XT. but this is still a bad card. didnt get it from the egg sorry got it from a friend.
- Other Thoughts: to the review from xoxide2010, if you're only getting 15+ fps in farcry2 with one of these cards maxed then you have some other issues going on, before this card I had a GTS 250 and was getting over 30 maxed settings. maybe you should upgrade the rest of your system. with this card I am getting 45+ on all maxed settings on a 24" lcd with 4GB of ddr2 800 and an E7200 clocked at 3.56ghz in the heaviest of battles. so imagine if I had my old ASUS P5NT-Deluxe maxed with a Q9550 and 8GB of 1066 and that is even some old stuff but I dont feel like upgrading till I cant play a game. with the new lynnfields out I might be upgrading by the end of this year. New Egg is the cheapest and best to buy from hands down others may have a a good deal every now and then but the egg is consistantly the best.
Awesome
- Pros: Great gpu fast and great fps playing world of warcraft. (even though warcraft isnt exactly a challenge to run in high fps) I play Farcry 2 in 3way sli and get 50 fps on the highest settings. One card will do about 15+ fps in farcry. Overclocking these are extremely easy as well just move the bars in the utility and you are good to go!
- Cons: none
- Other Thoughts: Only have 3 gpus because i 3-way box in warcraft so 3 monitors and 3 gpus is necessary for me but 1 will work great for one monitor.
great card
- Pros: fantastic performance fora reasonable price. EVGA included utility allows you to OC and control fan speeds SUPER EASY. No complaints at all
- Cons: NONE
- Other Thoughts: even with fan at 100% its still pretty quiet
