5 out of 5 eggsNot bad at all!

Pros: Brother gave me an old single core athlon 64 AM2 board with onboard graphics.... it was terrible!! So after much research this GPU is 9800GTX+ but the nm has been lowered so it stays the same speed, runs cooler, can OC higher and has less power requirements. This GPU can handle just about anything maxed out.

Cons: Its not a bad thing but this is the same card used over and over again.

8800GTX to 8800GT to 9800GTX to 9800GTX+ to GTS250 its all the same board just rebranded. so get whats best for you

Other Thoughts: I cant go wrong with this GPU its solid. i say its a must buy for someone who wants to game.

Personally if you want something more future proof, save up another $70 and get a GTX460 those things will put this card to shame.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellant Support Staff

Pros: Even tough I did not purchased this card at NewEgg. I must give the EVGA Support Staff very high marks for allowing me to RMA a eGeforce 8800 GT card(which I did purchase at NewEgg) and receiving this card in its place. They did not have to do this because I forgot to register my card after my purchase. They were polite, courteous and knowledgeable through out the whole process. I cannot say they will do this all the time, but in this instance they did for me. EVGA will remain my first goto video card maker in the future.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Remember to register your video card for warranty purposes!

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Card

Pros: I put this card in my Dell XPS 410 as a replacement for the default 7900 GS. The card just barley fits in this computer with only a small portion of the top fan being covered by the CPU heat sink. I didn't even have to upgrade the power supply to use this card. Thanks to this card and 4 GB of RAM, games are running at max performance without issue.

Cons: The size. This is a massive card!

5 out of 5 eggsstable and cool

Pros: Does what it is supposed to. Doesn't overheat, is not loud, and doesn't crash.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Haven't tried to overclock but haven't needed to with the games I play

5 out of 5 eggsEVGA GTS 250 is AWESOME!!!

Pros: This is an awesome graphics card! It can run all my games on high settings fine without overheating itself. When idling, the temperature is around 47 degrees. On load its around 55 degrees. I'm surprised because this graphics card gives better performance while having the same temperature as my NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS.

Cons: There are no cons except that it is big. It covered up one of the SATA ports, but that was okay since I had 4. I also needed to take out the power supply for it to fit, but that wasn't a problem since I was replacing it too.

Other Thoughts: It's a great thing that I bought it on sale. I didn't feel like buying a 4850 from ATI, but I didn't feel like paying over 120$ for a graphics card. This product comes with warranty, but I feel like I won't be needing it for over 3 years.

4 out of 5 eggsEVGA 250

Pros: Totally gets the job done! Run's Bad Company 2 like a dream.

Cons: I upgraded from a 8800GT. So i don't see much of an improvement. What's with no Lifetime warranty? Evga is usually good about that.

Other Thoughts: If you want a great card, this is it!

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good

Pros: A pretty awesome card. It can play many games at high settings, fits well in my case, and uses the RAM to make up for its lack of VRAM.

Cons: The TurboCache (Its use of system RAM) can be annoying if you're using lower speed RAM. I suggest you use high-level DDR3 RAM for this if you plan on going all out.

Also, the fact that it has half the RAM for only a handful of money less is just terrible.

Other Thoughts: Great card foir gaming, but if you're an uber serious gamer, get the 1GB version.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat as a Physx card

Pros: Not too huge, evga warrenty, modest power consumption. Saw a 15-40% boost in FPS in Physx enabled games with this card added to my 2 280's in SLI.

Cons: A little pricer than some other models.

Other Thoughts: Never used this card for a GPU, only a PPU.

5 out of 5 eggsStill truckin'

Pros: This card can play any modern game I throw at it, including the gorgeous Metro 2033 on High settings and 1400x900 res.
For the money it's a great buy if you aren't trying to spend hundreds on one of the more higher end GeForce cards.

Cons: None really, for the money I can't complain :D
