1 out of 5 eggsSooo Disappointed

Pros: It did turn on and had HDMI output

Cons: Horrible color saturation and artifacts. the screen was covered in red dots

Other Thoughts: I always go with EVGA I guess that is only if you are buying a high power gaming card.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for budget system or HTPC

Pros: Quiet, fanless design (also a con... see below). Lots of video output options on this card (HDMI, DVI, VGA). Great value after discount and rebate.

Cons: The card's heatsink was MUCH bigger than expected, and takes up two slots worth of space on my system (I also place part of the blame for this on the motherboard layout). Also, EVGA should really just include a low profile bracket with this card. I ended up having to pay half as much for the bracket as I did for the entire card!

Other Thoughts: Runs pretty warm without a fan, so overclocking this card is not really an option.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: Big Heatsink, get to RMA my first video card... ever.

Cons: DOA. My PC will not post with this in it. I have a 800 watt PS with one 50 amp 12 rail. More than enough juice to run the card, just doesnt work. Have tried it in 2 puters same result in both (different mobo in each).

Other Thoughts: might make a good door stop. Will RMA

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent for low power supply systems

Pros: I needed a board that could support 2560X1600 resolution and run on my system that has a 240 Watt power supply. This card does it great. I doubted it would handle gaming very well, but much to my surprise it runs Call of Duty 2 smooth as silk.

Cons: Watch out if you have a low profile system. It was my error, this board is low profile, but the port plate that connects to the PC chasis is standard height. I had to take a blank plate from my system and make a replacment port plate.

4 out of 5 eggsReliable for 6 months so far

Pros: Very reliable and runs cool at 47C idle as reported by Riva. However, this is in an air-cooled PC with plenty of airflow. No graphical issues, no hiccups, no nothing. This card is not used for gaming, hence why I purchased it. I have not tried Blu-ray playback or gaming on it, so I can't comment on its performance/reliability with those tasks.

Cons: Takes up two slots, but that's no fault of the design since it is passively cooled. My only other complaint is that the fins are perpendicular to my airflow, but that hasn't stopped the cooler from keeping the GPU within a reasonable temp range. I took off one egg because of the fin-direction. It could have been curved to suit all mounting positions (motherboard on left or right of case, or with ports facing upward). For my more install, it would have been better to have fins going with my airflow, which would mean fins running long-ways.

Other Thoughts: I run this as a secondary video card in my PC, where it cooperates well with my GTX 295 Co-Op (295 is maxed out with 3 monitors for gaming over a Matrox TripleHead2Go). I wanted my second video card to be within the same 200-series GPU for driver stability reasons. It only runs one monitor on the DVI port, which its sole purpose is to display Ventrilo, Foobar2000, the Riva GPU monitor widget, and other Windows widgets. Seems to handle Aero UI just fine in Windows 7.

4 out of 5 eggsDoesn't do 1080P at 60 Hz

Pros: HDMI with audio output! I don't use it for gaming, but it works great for movies on my HD TV.

Cons: Cannot do 60hz output at 1080p. It does do 50hz just fine. Still looks good and the price is right!

Other Thoughts: If you use XP be sure you do all windows updates. I was having handshake issues until updated. Works great now.
