5 out of 5 eggsLove this thing

Pros: Brilliant card. I've owned it a while and it continues to take everything I throw at it. In tandem with a trusty Phenom II X4 BE it runs BF4 on high at silky smooth framerates.

You should be jealous, because it's out of stock, and you can't have it now. Neener.

Cons: I can't have 7.

5 out of 5 eggsgtx480 evga

Pros: everything! i bought this card about three days ago. got it in a day. {super duper fast i might add!} it has done everything i have thrown at it on ultra max graphics!i wanted one of these cards since it came out two years ago. and now i got it, at 257 dollars out the door is not bad. heat is not an issue cause this card is designed to run around 55 to 95 celsius. and its a beast be shure to have room i barley made it fit lol. but a classic card i will not replace for at least two years until 680's go down to 250 dollars then i buy new card :) so heres for 2014 lol.oh and the meca of high end graphics crysis 1 was ran on ultra at about 40 frames per second !?!?! i know i didnt think it could be done lol!

Cons: the power it draws and the heat but that is it and that is not alot. ok look run your ac at 5 degrees higher 5 times a month to compensate the power increase in monthly bill and it will even out lol.

Other Thoughts: when you dont need this card in a few years anymore you can use it as a weight for deep sea diving :o when i first opened the box i had an or--m :0

5 out of 5 eggsDecent card!

Pros: Overclocks like a champ, 850/1700/2001 at stock voltage, faster than a SC GTX580 at this point. runs F@H pretty good, about 14kPPD at stock settings. at 100% fan speed its quieter than my case fans(7 80mm fans) and in games its about 40-60% faster than my GTX460 @ 900/1800/2100

Cons: took 5 days to get here :P

Other Thoughts: heat and noise aren't an issue like people say, 63C at full load running F@H all day, quieter than my case fans which aren't that loud anyways.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Card

Pros: This gpu is extremely fast and can handle every program or game I throw at it... full settings. Fast with encoding video and really gives CS5 a run for it's money.

Cons: It's been said over and over... this card can get really hot. This isn't really a major con because the heat shouldn't be an issue if you have decent ventilation in your case.

Other Thoughts: Fits perfectly in my Antec 902 and my 650 watt Corsair PSU was more than able to provide power for this beast. The price was kinda high but you get what you pay for and I think it was worth every cent.

5 out of 5 eggsEVGA GTX 480

Pros: Great video card! Runs anything I throw at it.

Cons: Price. But you get what you pay for. Does run a little how but use programs like MSI afterburner to control fan speed when the video card gets to a certain temp.

Other Thoughts: Wish I waited on buying this card, one month later and the GTX 580 comes out. Regardless of that I still am glad I got the GTX 480.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I can run any game on the market 1080P MAX settings with vsync. Plus it looks cool.

Cons: Its fan is loud under load.

Other Thoughts: I see a lot of people complaining about the temperature but I have used mine quite a bit with no problem. It idles at 40 and under any load goes to 80. Its just how this card functions. If you want keep an eye on it with EVGA's temp tool, you can, but I don't think this is a problem.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very high performance. Blitzed my old 8800 GTX.

Cons: Very loud but only when used and not idling (5000 RPM fan!). Very hot (90 degrees!). Normally don't think much of stock coolers but this thing really needs a better one.

Other Thoughts: The fan is by default set to around %50, and doesn't always scale it up as best as it should. Use the EVGA precision tool included with the card to see what I mean.
Highly recommend an aftermarket cooler, just read the reviews for them as some are quite idiotic (accelero extreme in particular)
