5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: The card runs ALL my games, including Skyrim, on the highest settings with little to no lag. Do keep in mind this is also helped by my CPU and SSD.

Cons: I recently had to RMA (Return to Manufacturer) because of a failed HDMI port. I have read around and I am not the only one with this problem on this particular EVGA card.

Other Thoughts: I love EVGA.

5 out of 5 eggshappy upgrade!!!

Pros: this gtx570 was a great purchase after doing a lot of research to decide wich way to go based on the money i wanted to spend!.replacing a tired gtx260.
i recommend using the precisionX tool..put the card through some stress tests to get the temps up for about 45mins.,,ran flawlessly...temps during gaming(borderlands2 at high settings)stay at around 68c with the fans ramping to about 82%...idle temp are around 40c.
i also bought the card based on the warranty,,,so far very satisfied with my purchase.

Cons: not really a con for me,,but some complain about the fan noise,,,i dont think it too much a bother i like to hear thats its doing its job.and when i have the sound up and concentrating on the game i dont notice it anyway!!!.

Other Thoughts: my only other thought is that i would like to see eVGA make a high flow bracket for this model,,i dont want to make my own mods on the bracket to keep it original condition..other than that this card is awesome!!

3 out of 5 eggsCould be better

Pros: Much better than my old card, had an HD Radeon 5700. I can play all the games I own (Skyrim, Battlefield, Company of Heroes, whatever) at mostly high or better settings. Runs quiet since I haven't had a need to turn the fan higher.

Cons: I cannot run any games in fullscreen mode with HDMI or DVI. If a game forces that setting, such as Assassin's Creed, I have to play w/ a VGA cable, which kind of defeats the point of having a nice card.

The tech support offered no solution other than to re-install the games, which I did for two, to no avail, to wipe out the drivers from my old card and re-install NVIDIA ones that I already had from the disc, and finally to just use a VGA cable.

Other Thoughts: I work tech support. If you cannot fix the problem yourself, you find out where to send the customer to get it fixed, even if that means you send them elsewhere. As far as I'm concerned, they did not do that.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

You should be able to run games in full screen mode using a 570. Can you please email me your full system specs so I can look into this for you, Matth@evga.com

5 out of 5 eggsHappy!

Pros: Does not have a problem keeping up w the new racing Beta games out there; RF2 - pCARS.
Beautiful.
Runs hotter than my older GTX260, but simply crank up the quiet gpu fan and no problem.
I have seen it get no higher than 62 degrees??

Cons: The DVI connector was hitting the case metal strip for the slot! (Antec 900 CASE)
Bummer I was all ready to then; had to twist and cut the metal out of the way to plug the card in! :-(

I wish the manufacturers' would lower those Duel DVI connectors a 1/16"...

Other Thoughts: Those Duel DVI connectors are too high on the cards' back plate.
But I got it to work...after some work.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far So good

Pros: Runs cool (about 55 degrees max) on max settings in SWTOR, Also Quiet at Max settings, same game. Doubled fps from a 6670 crossed with A8 CPU/GPU. USA company HQ. Great packaging, easy registration. Rebate

Cons: None really.

Other Thoughts: I bought this card when SWTOR made their big update and the crossfired A8 w/6670 started to have allot of stuttering. I didn't want to play the game with shadows off (looks unnatural) so I bought this card after ALLOT of research. I know the CPU is a bottleneck now but am going to upgrade mobo and CPU in a few months.

May actually consider an EVGA board with intel even though I prefer, and have an AMD now.

Seems like after allot of research Nvidia works better and runs cooler than comparable AMD cards.

Bought the vanilla card for the lifetime warranty. Not an OC'er but may get into it later. Was told that I had to have the AR model designation to get the lifetime warranty. And you have to register it on their website within 30 days too.

5 out of 5 eggsAll I can say is WOW

Pros: Great for gaming (60 FPS Skyrim on Ultra, 30 for Deus Ex)
Easy installation and setup.
Cool and quiet, even during gaming/benchmarks.

Cons: The thing is HUGE. I had trouble fitting it into my case. I'd probably get a full size case if I wanted to get another one of these.

Other Thoughts: I made the change from integrated graphics to dedicated, so this card has definitely blown me away and is definitely a great card to start out on.

Build:
AMD Phenom II X6 1090T CPU
RAIDMAX HYBRID 2 RX-730SS 730W PSU
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB RAM
Seagate Barracuda Green ST1500DL003 1.5TB HDD
Thermaltake Element G VL10001W2Z Case
ASUS M4A88TD-V Mobo

4 out of 5 eggsQuality Card

Pros: -Runs well under pressure
-Easily handles modern graphics at ultra-settings in recent games such as BF3 and Skyrim.
-30C Idle, <50C under load for hours of gaming.
-No issue with graphics lag or stuttering.
-No issues under continued heavy or normal use.
-Inexpensive for its capabilities and qualities.

Cons: -Isn't free.
-Didn't arrive at my front door moments after ordering.

Other Thoughts: I'm a bit strapped for cash at the moment, but I decided that I absolutely needed to upgrade from my hand-me-down 9800 GTX+. I wanted a good-performance and durable card that would SLI well, since I planned on having 3-way SLI in the future. From what I can tell from the reviews here, the specs, and my continued use of the 570, this card was the perfect choice for a quality price.

I would highly recommend this card for any avid gamers/poor college students like myself, especially if they plan to SLI in the future.
