5 out of 5 eggs1 year later

Pros: Takes everything I throw at it on High or Ultra. Crysis 3, Battlefield 3. The only game I have had tone down slightly is Witcher 2 which is surprisingly gpu demanding. Runs fairly cool at around 75c in my fairly warm case (I prefer low noise to good air flow). Able to OC to about 931MHz core and 2200 MHz Memory.

Cons: Does not have perks that with 600 or 700 series, cannot OC a whole lot before seeing game crashes and system crashes.

Other Thoughts: I simply can't get this card over 80c, no matter what I do. So maybe I'm bad at OC'ing or this card just cools brilliantly or something. I don't know. But it's weird.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid Card

Pros: Really Solid card. At the time of this review, it's the overall 36th ranked card on video card benchmark in terms of power, but most importantly, it's 1st on the power/price. Now then, that's when the card costs about $140, which is really hard to find cause the card's out of production.

Cons: It uses a mini-HDMI instead of a full HDMI, but that's simple.

5 out of 5 eggsOver a year of max graphics

Pros: Price vs performance - this card is a beast. Can play Skyrim maxed.

Cons: 2 generations old

Other Thoughts: This has been a solid card for me for over a year. Being poor, the refurbished was great. Although I recently upgraded to a GTX770, I will use this in my secondary rig, cuz its a solid card.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid card, but died after 1 year and 4 months

Pros: Solid card, price is well justified

Cons: A bit power hungry, needs a decent PSU to run it.
I was able to run it with 550W PSU, but I had to make sure enough current was available for this card. I think I just barely had enough.

Other Thoughts: Runs pretty hot, when playing high demand games I've seen 90+ degrees Celsius. This might be the reason why it's dead after 1 year and 4 months? I have a decent tower, running water cooling on CPU just FYI.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Maxes out every game i throw at it. Skyrim, Black ops 2, Crysis 2, Rage , Batman Arkham City and the list could go on. With no lag of any kind. Smooth as could be. I bought it brand new. Had it since 2-17-12 and now its 4-23-13 with no complaints.

Cons: None

4 out of 5 eggsspecs are righteous, but very disappointed

Pros: at the time of purchase, reasonable price for a medium to high performance card. I have yet to be able to use the card in action since everyone I've recieved have been DOA, but I can say that EVGA's support is professional and helpful. Which If you're going to spend a lot of money on a decent card, you want the support and dependability behind it in case something goes a miss like my issue.

Cons: first card was DOA. I waited a few months before I mailed in my RMA due to personal reasons. RMA'd, and second card was DOA. I troubleshooted there and back with tech support. but no avail. Hoping they give me a break with this 2nd RMA since I have to spend $40 for standard shipping again and maybe bump me up to a newer model.

Other Thoughts: Older model. If you're reading this now, you're better off purchasing a 600 series card. The price should be down by now and you wont be disappointed.

4 Eggs- Its not my first EVGA product. I understand things happen, and its bad luck with the dead cards. 4 eggs, because the tech support held it afloat.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card for the price!!

Pros: I bought this card because it was in my price range. I was not expecting to be able to run games at HIGH settings with just one card.

As I began to push the card a little more to see what I could get I am still surprised at how well it performs. Being able to play Planetside 2 a new game with some cutting edge graphics I only had to tweak some settings down to get reliable frame rates between 20-40 (keep in mind PS2 is still being optimized) all settings are on high except shadows.

Cons: Now that I have some extra money and would like to test out another card in SLI they are pretty difficult to find and I am weary of buying refurbished products from other sellers because newegg's RMA/return processes are outstanding.
