Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Pros: I set this up quickly on my new ASRock ITX motherboard. It installed without a hitch, and it immediatly showed some of what it is capable of with the testbench software on the CD. I was notably impressed. I have almost doubled my FPS on WoT and MWO!
Cons: It does produce a fair amount of dB increase when the fan kicks on, which I mark up to price of progress.
Other Thoughts: Currently this has as much memory as the rest of my computer (with a 32bit OS). The card is well made, with a shroud to help keep the air flowing where it is needed and to keep other objects out (like fingers).
