  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA AntiAliasing Antialiasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new antialiasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology3. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from 3DVisionLive.com in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.
  • newegg NVIDIA PhysX Technology Full support for NVIDIA PhysX technology, enabling a totally new class of physical gaming interaction for a more dynamic and realistic experience with GeForce.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Great Card for the money, I've had mine for over a year now. I'm not a serious gamer so it runs everything I need pretty well. Paid $149 and it has definitely been worth it.
I considered upgrading when I built my new rig,
I7 3770K running at 4100MHz @29C under load Thermaltake water cooled w/ 32gb Corsair ram a RAID 10 setup (4-1tb drives) all in a ThermalTake Chaser II case. It's a beast. I guess the slowest part is the Video Card but for my use I don't really need to upgrade the video yet.
Got all My parts here on Newegg :)
Get the GTX 750TI for the around the same
$149 price

EVGA 02G-P4-3751-KR GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card

Cons: None really
Pretty sure you can get a similar performing card that doesn't need a dedicated power cable.
But now that it's a bit dated you can probably get a better card in the same $150 price range

Other Thoughts: Get the GTX 750TI for the around the same
$149 price

5 out of 5 eggsWorth Every Penny

Pros: For the price, fast! If your case is properly ventilated, you'll forget you installed this card as it's pretty silent. The card is just as small as it seems in the pictures so don't worry about size restrictions.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I was using a Radeon HD 6870 in my gaming PC until it died. The card lasted 3 years and lived through a rough lightning storm that fried a lot of my hardware. I replaced it with the 650 Ti and I can't even tell the performance difference between the two.

2 out of 5 eggsPotentially faulty card?

Pros: Mostly has allowed me to be able to play either on ultra or high. There are few games where I actually have to go between medium or high but otherwise this card has been decent until recently.

Cons: Upon talking to a few of my friends who are great with tech stuff, they have come to the conclusion that I might have a faulty GPU. After not an actual year of USE (had the card since the beginning of December in 2012 but didn't get to use the card until April 2013), I'm starting to have video issues. My screen will occasionally flicker black and I know it's not my monitor. I've also had two or three BSODs with no true reason behind it. Drivers were updated, I even reinstalled the drivers to make sure after the first BSOD. The blue screens have been entirely random and have occurred as I was just looking at my screen doing nothing and only having a couple youtube tabs up on my browser along with a couple other tabs as well (likely facebook but I can't remember specifically).

Regardless, this card seems like it may be faulty and hasn't shown such until recently. I checked to make sure the card was seated correctly and it definitely is so I'm not really sure why I'm having any issues with it. I also recently haven't been able to watch videos on HD easily or play games on a high setting without FPS issues. I wish I could RMA this or something but due to having been so long off, I'm pretty much stuck doing nothing but writing this.

Other Thoughts: This card is great but I think I just got unlucky with getting a faulty card that only showed such after time of use. No reason this card should give me these problems after not even a year of use.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,
It does sound like there is something wrong with the card. Please contact support, we will have a couple things to try and see if that helps stabilize things, and if that does not work we can definitely assist with warranty support. We are available 24/7 at Newegg@evga.com or 888-881-3842
Regards,
EVGA Customer Support

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Amazing performance for the price

Cons: I had some trouble fitting it into my desktop -- the fan case on the gpu extends pretty close to the pcie connector. There is a capacitor on my mobo that stop the gpu from being completely inserted; my previous low-profile gpu never had this problem. To this day, this gpu hangs out, never locked into place, and barely inserted enough to actually function.

Other Thoughts: It's the best compromise between size, cost, and performance for my desktop.
Btw this is a low-profile card; expect a tradeoff in performance for size and cost.

Heh, all I need now is a better cpu... 2.2ghz intel quad core is bottlenecking this gpu on certain games.

2 out of 5 eggsMy 9800GTX+ was better

Pros: - Smaller profile due to not having SLI support.
- It's EVGA

Cons: Honestly, not really any improvement over my 9800GTX+ card I replaced with this card. I was hoping it would be a decent upgrade for the price, but I was very wrong in that aspect. Here I am a little over a year later and just purchased a 780 Superclocked to replace this one. I really only play Battlefield 4 on my PC and this card has to have everything set to low to actually play with about 40-60 FPS. I actually have to underclock the card to fix an Nvidia driver bug, which doesn't help the situation any. There are much better cards for a bit more out there and I suggest those over this one.

Has nothing to do with EVGA themselves, it's just not a performing series.

Other Thoughts: I will continue to purchase/recommend EVGA products because they are top of the line, quality cards. This card was just much lower than my expectations and here I am having to purchase a newer card a year later.

Manufacturer Response:

"Hello Kyle,
This card is a mid grade card and will not be competitive against the 780. As for BF4, DICE is currently resolving issues regarding overclocked cards.

5 out of 5 eggsSmokes in Linux

Pros: Works beautifully with linux and steam.
I'm not a serious gamer (I don't bother dual booting windows for gaming anymore) but my son wanted Minecraft on the PC and it needed more GPU HP than my Quadro could offer.
Since I now have the graphic card to pull it, I gave steam for linux a try and replaying HL-2 is fantastic.
The card is very quiet, no additional noise from the case (which is virtually silent).

Cons: There are cheaper 640ti cards out there but EVGA is a known quantity for me.

Other Thoughts: This GPU is way overkill for my uses, but for this price why not:
HL-2 uses about half the onboard RAM and has stupid high frame rates (100-250 w/ 4x anti-aliasing). I know, I know, its an 8 year old game but seriously, has there been a better game made? And to be able to play it natively on Linux? Thats just cool in my book.
EVGA is still the best and their online rebate system is really appreciated.
Props to Steam/Valve for supporting Linux.
My Box:
Xubuntu 12.04; ancient quad core Xeon E5420; 8 gig of RAM + this...nice.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing card, Amazing price

Pros: The GTX 650 Ti is the best card for gamers who don't want to spend a fortune. This card can play ANY game right now smoothly although some not at max settings, but it maxes all of my games anyway. This also has Nvidia Shield compatibility if you're into that.

Cons: Nope

Other Thoughts: I've had this card for over a year and it has never failed me. It never overheats in my cramped HP case with but cable management. Evga has the best service.

NOTE: i recommend you buy the 2gb version as it is more future proof.

Here is my rig:
Intel Core i5-2320 @3.3 Ghz
Gtx 650 ti
10GB Ram

Some games I play:

Skyrim: 40-60 FPS Max Settings
Batman Arkham City: 60 FPS Max settings (Physx off)
GTA IV: 30-60 FPS high settings
Borderlands 2: 40-80 FPS High settings (PhysX on)
Minecraft: Pffttt

4 out of 5 eggsGood card.

Pros: Runs perfect. Have not had any issues so far. I upgraded from a laptop to this card and I love it.

Cons: Im anning on playing arma3 and dayz but do not get enough fps to record. Going to get a R9 290. The gtx 650 ti gets around 20-40 fps in arma 3
And in dayz can get around 60 but usually averages around 40 on high settings which is way better them my laptop but not what I want.

Other Thoughts: If your planning on playing battlefield 4 on ultra high you wont be impressed with this
Card.
