- Pros: This is my second powercolor 4770 now I have them in crossfire with great frames. In crysis with a res of 1680x1050 with all high settings my frames are 38 fps min, 48 fps ave, and 90 fps max. I am very pleased with these cards great purformence in all my other games also Tomb Raider underworld 150+fps ave, 314 fps max FEAR, Bioshock,Call of Duty 4, and all my other games 100+fps at a res of 1920x1080. Great cards if you can buy two for crossfire there a great choice. Buy now!!!!!!!
- Cons: none
- Other Thoughts: MY specs are Windows 7 Evaluation copy, Phenom II 940 quad core, ECS a790gxm-a motherboard, 4gbs of G.skill ddr2 1100 ram, Powercolor 4770's in crossfire, corsair 850w power supply, 250gb seagate hard drive, lite on blu ray drive, samsung dvd burner, and Hanns.G 21.5" monitor. All parts are at stock settings.
- Pros: This is my first graphics card from powercolor and I'm very pleased with it's purformence. One of this cards performed as good and better at times than my crossfired 3870's. In crysis with the 3870's on all high settings my frames would hit lowes of 23 fps, 35 fps Ave, and 46 fps max. With this 4770 in crysis my frames are 31 fps min, 42 fps ave, and 50 fps max. I am very pleased with this card can't wait to buy another one. Plays all my other games Tomb Raider underworld,FEAR, Bioshock, Mirror's edge, and other games in my collection with up to 40 fps better than my 3870's.
- Cons: none
- Other Thoughts: All of the fps listed above were with a res of 1440x900 and with these specs Phenom II 940 quad core, ECS A790gxm-a motherboard, 4gbs of wintec 6400 ddr2, powercolor ati 4770 at stock settings, corsair tx850w power supply, seagate 250gb hard drive, 19" acer monitor, and windows vista home premium 64 bit.
Excellent Card
- Pros: Runs alot cooler than the 4850 in my machine, Color depth and resolution is superb on both Vista Ultimate 64 and Windows 7 Ultimate 64 (RC1), actually better under Windows 7 - sharper, deeper colors. Used both Catalyst 9.4 and 9.5
Drivers on both Operating Sytems. Great video when playing from BlueRay Disk.
- Cons: none at this point.
- Other Thoughts: Great pricepoint, even should be considered an upgrade from MB with built in Video, and a free PCI-E 16 Slot.
