Pros: great card, cant find a problem with it, i moved from a xfx 8400 to this so i would'nt know much but with this new card i can play anything i want ive installed top demos, benchmarked it on yougamers and i tops everything, soon i might crossfire, and look up OC on internet to see what i can get out of it but it has its own interface to OC but i think it would be better to do it in the Bios
Cons: my computer shuts down and restarts or freezes alot more than the xfx infact the xfx never had these problems but then again it could be another componet
Other Thoughts: my rig OS: windows xp 32bit this card AMD phenom(tm) II x4 945 2 gigs of ddr3 1066 ram (going to upgrade this soon tho) 120 hard drive and thats my computer about

Great card but cant get it to work with my hdtv

Pros: Plays everything i want, doesnt overheat.
Cons: Neither catalyst controller nor w7 will recognize that i have my hdtv hooked up in the hdmi slot. on boot the bios screen and the loading screen for w7 both show up on my normal lcd (through dvi) however when the login in screen loads the hdtv loses signal. neither catalyst controller nor windows7 detect the hdtv.
heatsink feels a lil bit cheap
Other Thoughts: i am able to go into the bios and play around and still have both screens. im thinking its a driver compatibility issue with windows 7. Also had an old system with vista and 3850 the hookup worked with the dual dvi slots so its not the tv
The reason i took 2 eggs off is my issue hooking it up to the hdtv really doesnt allow me to use it in the manner in which i originally intended

Pros: I just installed the gpu a few hours ago. Tested a few games and internet video. Then Threw in a blue ray movie. The new release of Star Trek. And I saw, and it was good. I've heard that ati was best for movies. And I wasn't disapointed. And also a surprise for me was better audio. I don't know if it's the drivers or audio is processed through the card, but it's clearly HD as well as the video. I bought this card for my media pc. And so far it's just what i'd hoped it would be.
Cons: too early to tell. I'll make another review if I have problems later.
Other Thoughts: I just complained about the packaging earlier today, when I recieved the item. Seems like just dumb luck the cooling fan wasn't damaged. That hasn't changed. I won't be buying another Powercolor product. I feel lucky that the item actually worked, considering the lack of product protection. But I will be purchasing another Ati product.
