3 out of 5 eggsAmazing but...

Pros: -Runs League of Legends Max Graphics 100frames
-Runs Tera almost max graphics little to no frame lag.

Cons: -Started randomly overheating hasn't even been a week since I put it in my computer...

Other Thoughts: I really like the card I do, but not even a few days after I've had it have I noticed that it's been overheating. Then it will go and freeze my computer, and I stopped running all of my games on max graphics and the problem still seems to be happening. It was probably just my luck, and I ended up getting a faulty piece of hardware.

Manufacturer Response:

These cards have a thermal threshold of 95C before thermal throttling begins to take effect. If the card is not getting to these temperatures, then there may be another issue at hand here which requires additional troubleshooting. If you are still in possession of the card, please call us at 626-330-4700 or email us at usa@powercolor.com for further assistance.

Thank you,

PowerColor Support

1 out of 5 eggsWorked for about half a year.

Pros: It worked wonderfully for half a year.

Cons: Suddenly started overheating like crazy and died--all in the same day. Fan was working fine. No explanation for the sudden overheating. I had never once overclocked it either. There was no need to do so.

Other Thoughts: This was my very first powercolor product. It will also be my last. Of course the card died not too long after the warranty expired. In the past I have always bought sapphire cards. I never had a card failure with them. I should have stuck with them.

Manufacturer Response:

I apologize for the issues you have experienced with our product. I can assure you that this product is still under its two (2) year warranty and can be replaced under warranty. Please contact me directly at jgaray@powercolor.com so that I may assist you in getting this resolved.

Thank you,

Jonathan

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Haven't been able to tax it at max settings on Diablo 3.

Cons: I had trouble getting it into the slot on my mobo.

5 out of 5 eggsamazing bang for buck

Pros: aesthetically its beautiful, havent played a single game that brought the card below 60fps, this includes crysis, crysis2 hd texture dx11, borderlands, borderlands 2, bf3, dolphin emulator with hd textures on super smash brawl, other games too, all on the highest possible settings 1920x1080 resolution (except: I switched medium physx for bl2, high setting was very exaggerated and heats up my CPU since I don't run NVIDIA and physx is obviously NVIDIA based)

Cons: technically 4.5 stars due to its heat dissipation method, its a single fan that exhausts through the back of the gpu, however the card runs cool (see other thoughts)
the fan at 70%> is loud however I have 10 fans ok my case so it doesn't bother me whatsoever, (had 912 case so the venting makes the internals louder than a typical case anyway)

Other Thoughts: low power consumption, actually ran it on a 460w dell psu with I7 2600, 16gb ram and a few fans for a while,

temps--idle: 27-32, load: 48-55 single screen, idle: 39-47, load: 54-58 overclocked to 1050/1300 (crazy how temps are managed on this card) dual screen not eyefinity
overclocks crazy however I don't really go past the ccc max amd never touch voltage,
overall: well worth the money, reliable, runs cool, looks very clean, comes with adapters, needs single 6pin, never had problems, buy one and see for yourself

5 out of 5 eggsGreat graphics card

Pros: Runs battlefield 3 on ultra setting at around 45 to 50 frames per second. I don't think I could have got a more powerful card at a better price. Videocardbenchmark website ranks it slightly higher than a radeon 6970, and it costs less and uses less power.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome.

Pros: Awesome performance, have yet to run into a game that make this card break a sweat at highest settings.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Thought about buying a more expensive card, but can't see the justification, yet to see this one max out.

5 out of 5 eggsDisregard Previous Review

Pros: NA

Cons: NA

Other Thoughts: Please ignore my previous review, I contacted customer support and they agreed to send me a different card. I was angry and instead of contacting customer support first I just wrote a harsh review which was unprofessional of me.

1 out of 5 eggsVery Angry

Pros: Very high performance, low power, mid ranged video card, they work but for how long?

Cons: I had hoped it would go away but both cards emit a high pitched electrical whine under load, one far more than the other. Sent the worse on in for RMA only for them to tell me it tested okay. This is my first and last time ever using PowerColor, I should have gone with one of the other brands I've always used and never had issues with before.

Other Thoughts: Completely unacceptable, I paid 260$ for two of these cards to get cheap capacitors that whine under load... Never had this issue with any other video card in all my years of building computers.

Manufacturer Response:

We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with our product. Electrical noise is a common occurrence among many GPU manufacturers and is capable of showing up in a wide range of products across all manufacturers. The fact that electrical noise is present does not necessarily make the product defective as the product will still be able to function as it was intended to function. However, we at PowerColor will honor any warranty requests due to electrical noise if the noise is too cumbersome for our customers.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me directly at jgaray@powercolor.com.

Thank you,

Jonathan

2 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: Very fast card. Inexpensive.

Cons: The display flickers when the GPU's under load. This is the second Powercolor card I bought, and both had the same issue. The first one started having the issue after the warranty expired, but not this one. I had to RMA, and PowerColor refused to send a replacement before they receive the faulty card, leading to a month of downtime.

Other Thoughts: I guess you get what you pay for. One's an isolated incident, two's a problem. I probably won't buy PowerColor again.

Manufacturer Response:

I apologize for the issues you've encountered with our product. If you are still having issues, please feel free to contact me directly at jgaray@powercolor.com.

Thank you,

Jonathan

1 out of 5 eggsGraphics glitches, poor support

Pros: It's a fast Radeon

Cons: I routinely get graphical glitches with the pointer that require a reboot. The device's DisplayPorts fail when resuming from sleep and require a reboot. Going from production to beta drivers didn't help, and after waiting 5 days for support to get back to me they said "Just wait for AMD to release a new driver in a few months, maybe that will help."

Other Thoughts: The lack of even a modest amount of support from the manufacturer will make me avoid Powercolor.

Manufacturer Response:

I apologize for the problems that you have experienced with our product. With the issues you've been experiencing, I believe that there may be more than one thing going on with your particular card that are not necessarily driver related. If you would like additional assistance, please feel free to contact me at jgaray@powercolor.com.

Thank you,

Jonathan
