1 out of 5 eggsBottom of the line of 8800GT

Pros: Affordable, Easy to Install,

Cons: Doesn't perform as high as other 8800GTs that I've owned. The XFX will do much better and cost a little more, but you get what you pay for. With this card, I can barely run WoW on lower settings, at some point, with a new mobo I will double up cards, but for the time being, I am swapping back over to my XFX card.

5 out of 5 eggsOutstanding

Pros: I run two of these and have yet to have any problems with them. Recently I bought Grand Theft Auto IV at first I had a small problem with lag every now and then(when I raced thru the city at top speed Huge data transfers) I went and updated my drivers and now I run the game with no problems at all.
I use 3DS Max to make cartoons and graphics for ads and other things. I never have a problem no matter what size I have to make or work with.
They run hot but I never had them over heat yet the fans are super quite and easy to clean when dirty.

I plan on getting another one and running three at a time in the future.

I built 3 computers like mine and they have not had a problem.

Might buy some for replcement just incase

Other Thoughts: For the price a Outstanding vid card that will last you a long time.

Any thing that can run GTA4 at the settings I do and run smooth is GREAT.

5 out of 5 eggsawesome card for the price

Pros: I have had this card for over a year now and it just rocks every game ive thrown at it. This card is a monster for the price and i've been pleased with the performance the whole time i've owned it.

Cons: You will have to clean it about every 3-4 months if theres alot of dust and you have pets cause it will overheat bad when dirty even at 100% fan speed. Its noisy at highest fan speed so if u want a whimpy quiet computer prob not a good choice for you.

Other Thoughts: I've ordered another one to run in SLI, thats how much i love this card!!! Pair it with a high end quad core cpu and you have one beast of a gaming computer.

3 out of 5 eggsDrivers + Vista (32-bit) = Useless

Pros: Fast cards. I was very impressed by the speeds using SLi... when they actually worked.

Cons: Drivers! I have no idea why, but no matter which version of the GeForce drivers I installed on Vista 32-bit, I always ended up Blue Screening or simply locking up. The exact same drivers work fine with my 7900GS, but once I install the 8800GT and install the drivers again, my computer continually crashed. It eventually got to the point that I could not even boot into Windows completely before I got a BSOD when using the nVidia drivers. The default Windows drivers worked with the card and I narrowed the problem down to the simple fact that nVidia CANNOT get their drivers right for the 8800GT. Many people seem to be having issues with this card using Vista.

Other Thoughts: If you have Windows Vista (32-bit for sure) try a newer card.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent performance / price ratio

Pros: This card is still able to tackle the latest games rolling onto the shelf. Very cheap considering how much money you will need to pay for a card twice its value, yet not twice its performance. If you have adequate cooling, you can push this card easily to boost its performance. Keep in mind that this is also a one-slot card so it can allow you to place more devices in your computer, just make sure it doesn't block the intake.

Cons: One of the most notorious cards known for getting hot, as in well over 90*C! (I've seen/heard 100*C degrees before). Monitor its temperature constantly and clean it as necessary (easy to do). nVidia's nTune can help you push the stock fan speed above the default (set at 25-30%), and that will definitely keep it decently cool. The tradeback is its noise, but rest assured that its getting cooled.

Other Thoughts: After having had this card for over a year, it has never disappointed me. From starcraft to crysis, this card will render whatever you want to play without burning a hole in your wallet.

3 out of 5 eggsStockish

Pros: Well i've had this card for about 3 months and after using my father's Dell Laptop that was off the assembly line about 3 and a half weeks ago, i can notice a difference between the GeForce 280 in his laptop in this. Since then i have overclocked this card and it has worked much better.

Cons: Can overheat easily. Stock fan speed is only 25% of maximum speed.

Other Thoughts: Well i was a little tight on money when buying video cards so this was definitely a good choice for me or anyone with a light wallet. i'm probably going to upgrade sometime within the next 2 months. If you have this card and want to overclock it, you can easily find programs to download that can lead you through the process.

5 out of 5 eggsGot the last one.

Pros: I like the card. I diddent know they made green cards anymore.

Cons: Fan & cooler was bent out of shape for sure when i got it. Was going to rma it untill i seen that they dont have anymore. Anyways not wanting to give it up i got a Thermalright hr-03 gt . It cools better than the little rice burning fan without a fan at all.

Other Thoughts: I would blame the ups guy for the bent fan.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Fantastic card that has given me no trouble whatsoever. Runs pretty much any game flawlessly.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: The new 9800GT is essentially the same card, minus some physics capabilities. If it helps your wallet, get this one.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent card

Pros: Excellent performance to price ratio play COD4, BF2142, Crysis,UAW, Supreme Commander and Bioshock on high settings on 24" monitor I have purchased 2 running SLI and these are beasts for the money ran 1 at first replacing a 7600GT. Had to get a second paid less for a single card than my 7600GT. All I can say is these are fast and Cuda apps scream run 20x+ faster than standard q6600 processor. Great for transcoding video

Cons: Little on the warm side but very manageable. Power hungry Make sure you have a fast enough CPU to handle these babies

Other Thoughts: ASUS P5N-D DUAL 8800GT's 4GB DDR1066 2x WD320GB HDD's Q6600@3.4ghz 700WATT PS
