5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Very easy to overclock, dual monitors are a breeze to hook up, and the video quality is excellent. My current computer has an 800 gts, this one runs circles around it.

Cons: None really, just that it's large and requires an extra 6 pin power cord...

Other Thoughts: I just built a computer for my friend.
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 wolfdale 3.0ghz (65w) (oclocked to 3.5 veeeerrryyy easily)
Gigabyte GA-EP43-DS3L motherboard
Seagate 500GB HD
2x2gb corsair ddr2 ram
asus VW224U 22" monitor
Coolermaster 600w PSU

So far this card has run WOW, bioshock, and CSS on max settings without a single lag or hiccup. Later models of video cards may not be "the best of the best" but you get AMAZING deals if you wait 2-3 months after they come out, and the performance change is minimal.
It's like buying a cup of soup, or a bowl of soup at a restaurant...the bowl always costs double, but is rarely any bigger than the cup...

5 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: Works flawlessly on Vista 64. Runs any game I've thrown at it with high to max settings.

Cons: Linux support is spotty at best, tho I can't subtract a star for this as it only requires a dual boot system to skirt this issue.
(I'm sure plenty of people are able to make this card work fine on linux, I'm still kindof a linux noob.)

Other Thoughts: Get this card. amazing bang for the buck. As I post this review I'm about to buy a second for an SLI setup. I'll write another review for the second card in reference to SLI. wish me luck :P

4 out of 5 eggsPNY Nvidia 9600 GT

Pros: great card for the price, runs most games really well.

Cons: tends to overheat!!! probably has something to do with my small case.

Other Thoughts: my fan sometimes goes off balance and hits the motor mounting screws creating a pretty annoying buzz.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works great easy to install, i only needed to get a new power supple, i would buy it for the price and how it works, it also came with fronlines fuel of war and that is a great game, best buy of the year for me.

Cons: Pretty big, no problem tho

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Budget Card

Pros: Great Performance! Run Team Fortress 2 on Maximum Graphics settings on 1280 x 1024, runs the Frontlines game same way. I never get a bad frame rate. I won't even compare it to the card in my old rig, a Geforce FX 5500.

Cons: Costs more than a nice cold root beer? None, actually.

Other Thoughts: The rig I'm running it in:

CPU: Core 2 Duo e4600 2.4 Ghz OC'd to 3.00 Ghz
RAM: 2 GB Corsair Valueselect DDR2-667 OC'd to 885 Mhz
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-945GCM
PSU: Antec Earthwatts EA-500 500 Watts

5 out of 5 eggsGood Card

Pros: Affordable.

256 memory interface.

Cons: 64 stream processors.

Other Thoughts: A setting labeled "maximum pre-rendered frames" if i set this to 0 lol it would crash every time during a fullscreen application.

A very very long card but slim.
