4 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Card is almost flawless I have been running it from early 2009 and do not plan to upgrade until the 780s come out as I can still pump out a good 48-60+ FPS on max settings with this card in SLi.

Cons: High Temps even at idle I needed to obtain an aftermarket heat-sink and fans to keep thees puppies purring without cutting out due to over heating in the middle of games.

Other Thoughts: Even though the cards are not DX11 and with the 680s coming out with PCIx 3.0 I am still waiting until the 780s come for an upgrade because these cards in SLi still reign supreme when you go MHz to price point and quality of game.

4 out of 5 eggs285 is good

Pros: Card worked great, ran cool and is not very loud.

Cons: After about 6 months something went wrong with the hardware and the card caused minor crashing.

Other Thoughts: When I got the card it was great, and still beets many cards on the market, Its time for a new card anyway.

3 out of 5 eggsI would choose evga in the future

Pros: The GTX 285 is a very fast card and i have yet to find a game that i cant run at max settings with at least 30 fps.

Cons: I would go for a EVGA or another brand for the card, on this one, the cooling system blows. After playing Battlefield Bad company 2 for about an hour, it will get up to about 85 C and force quits to prevent damage. I had to replace the colling system with a Zalman gpu cooling system, which was kind of a hassle

Other Thoughts: Everything else about it is fine. Nothing wrong with size or anything, just a poor cooling system.

5 out of 5 eggsPNY GTX285

Pros: This card is great so great i have bought 3 of them for tri sli. just one card on my 24" dell monitor @ 1900x1200 60hz runs crysis @ 27 to 40 fps consistant.
i've seen 3 of these run better than 2 gtx295's

Cons: Not really any cons, would like them to be cheaper.

Other Thoughts: My System:
Q9550 Oc'd To 3.6GHZ
Evga 780I
8GB Ocz 1066 Memory
2- 1 Tb Hard Drives
3 GTX 285's IN TRI SLI

5 out of 5 eggsYep!

Pros: Had a PNY 8800gts that's been great so went with PNY for GTX285. Reference or near reference design but oc'able. Flawless and very fast so far for me!

Cons: Need 42 amps @ 12v so minimum ps would typically be 650w+. My original 550w with ~38 amps was NOT enough. Not a con - but somewhat mis-advertised.

4 out of 5 eggsSo far so good

Pros: Fast, excellent GPU so far. Holds up well in bench marks, and doesn't seem to go above 75-76C. Seems like it might be a good candidate for some light overclocking.

Cons: Ginormous. Even in my Antec 1200 case, which is by no means small, this thing almost was too long to the point where it was touching the middle hard drive bays.

As others have noted, the stick slapped onto the fan cover has many, many air bubbles. Personally, I ripped it off and did my best to clean the remaining adhesive with some rubbing alcohol, but I shouldn't have needed to do that. If you want to brand up your product, at least do us the favor of making sure it won't cause heat dissipation issues.

Other Thoughts: Make sure this will fit in your case before buying. Nothing worse than dropping a load of cash on a video card only to find you can't install it in your rig.

5 out of 5 eggsFast!

Pros: Very Fast, no tearing. Love the design of the fans for cooling.

Cons: Very big card. Make sure that you have room for it to fit in your case.

5 out of 5 eggsPowerful card

Pros: This is a ref model 285gtx made buy Nvidia and sold by PNY, it just as good as any other 285gtx. Destroys any game out.

Cons: I have owned two of these cards and both came shipped with the logos / stickers having bubbles in them, and while not a big issue PNY's lack of quality control on the little things makes a difference to me. I also found a review of this card listing the same issue.

Other Thoughts: If you want a ref model 285gtx, and really most 285 gtx are made exactly the same, (there are a few exceptions) and this card is the cheapest of the bunch don't hesitate it just as good as all the rest minus the logo issues.

1 out of 5 eggsDont Buy PNY

Pros: NONE!

Cons: PNY Does not stand behind products, in computer business order my product from dist. send in my personal card because of fan failure they do not honor my receipt? Come on guys a fan, I could have ordered a replacement fan and saved the shipping and hassle! Will not buy or sell another PNY product!

2 out of 5 eggsDOA, poor quality

Pros: Price is good, rebate available on 3 boards.

Cons: 1 of 3 boards dead. Replacement board (same SKU, same reseller) was not the same as other two. Was missing s-video port and worse, Koolance water block would not fit! Quaility is definately going down.

Other Thoughts: Go with eVGA or BFG and get life warranty.
