4 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: Fast as hell for the price. I got mine two years ago and it is still running strong. Just ordered another to run in SLI, and it is FAST. Runs Crysis at full detail, 1920x1080, 2xAA, 8xAF at 30-45 fps. Simply amazing

Cons: Has some problems. In certain 3d applications, there is a flicker that happens when a flat plane intersects with a complex geometric object. It's quite annoying in Oblivion, as the water plane flickers around the edges of the terrain in the Distant LOD. If this bothers you, go the the red corner and get a RadeonHD 4870. They're about $50 cheaper and offer almost exactly the same performance.

Other Thoughts: This card was a steal about two years ago. It had the best "Bang for the Buck", as it were, at that time. Now, however, it's a bit too pricey for the performance. I would just go with a GTX460 or an ATI Radeon HD 4870. Both are good alternatives.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent card, even better SLI

Pros: Excellent frame rates on high settings in most games today, such as Bad Company 2 and Just Cause 2, this will be my 3rd PNY GTX 260 and run them all SLI, expecting great results (P.S. 3x SLI is not nessecary, i just do a lot of recording with this card and want the highest quality to frame rate ratio possible)

Cons: Rather pricey for an oldish card, but thats more of a problem to me rather than about the card.

Other Thoughts: PNY lifetime warranty very convenient to have.

have not overclocked, do not intend to, not nessecary at all.

5 out of 5 eggsGood for the price, dated now.

Pros: Got it on sale for $160. Cooling seems great, max temp was 76 C in a 85 F room. Idles at around 43C.

Cons: I think the GTX 460 now outclasses this card for only $20. It will increasingly becoming irrelevant.

Other Thoughts: If it was still priced at $160 it would probably still be a ok deal, but the profit margins are probably zilch at that price.

2 out of 5 eggsFailed in 10 months

Pros: Easy to set up and configure, lots of nice OC features ( don't use them my self ) Price is moderate. Running them in the SLI configuration is the way to go. I gave it 2 eggs because of the card failure ( see Cons ) if not this would have been 5 eggs.

Cons: 1 card died within 10 months. Big - VERY BIG !! I have the Antec 300 case with a different PSU 850W, if you plan on using these make sure you have the room. I had enough for a small TV card and that's it. Fans can be loud when you set them to manual at 100% even louder than my 4 120MM cooling fans in the case.

Other Thoughts: I bought 2 of these cards back in October of 2009, up until last week both had been flawless in the SLI configuration. They would handle pretty much anything I gave them. Last Friday night under normal (not over clocked ) conditions I was playing Battlefield Bad Company 2 and all of sudden the box just froze and wouldn't reboot. After pulling memory and checking the power supply ( Corsair 850TX ) I moved on to the video cards swapping them in and out to isolate the failure. Sure enough I had a bad card. I know these cards don't cost that much, but come on ! its not even 1 year. And believe me I run a stock box ( Asus P6T deluxe and 12 gigs of DDR3 OCZ Gold memory ).

I failed to register the card on PNY's site, trying tonight it rejected me because I waited to long. I'll try to contact support and set up a return if they will allow it. Its to bad really, this series card (though very big ) runs nice when its working.

1 out of 5 eggsone month of great gaming

Pros: When it ran, it was great. Very fast, very quiet. Nothing more than you should expect from a card such as this one.

Cons: It started artifacting after just less than one month of moderate (not every day) gaming. Three days later
"Device cannot start" code 10

Other Thoughts: i was happy at first. then i was brutaly disapointed.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Power

Pros: I have this in my Windows 7 64-bit system, it works fine and produces some heat but the case mainly keeps it cool enough (I use a Coolermaster 344 case), and if its too hot you can always boost up the built in fan.

It can play most games at max settings for me (running at a resolution of 1440x900). Crysis runs at highest settings with only a few speed issues, Fallout 3 runs at max as does Just Cause 2 and pretty much every other game I've tried.

It can also run Dolphin and PCSX2 good (Just remember to change them to use Directx and not Opengl).

You also get three free movies with this card.

Cons: Expensive, but its the right price for the power it has.

Other Thoughts: This should be able to run anything you would want, unless you plan on playing multiple games of Crysis at once.

Remember to update the drivers from Nvidia's site instead of using the outdated ones that come with it.

5 out of 5 eggsGood card for its price.

Pros: A very good card for its price. Run Crysis at 1920x1080 everything on ultra No AA at an average 19fps. Justcause 2 at max with 1920x1080 at 28fps with 4x AA. Runs any game out right now on max with no AA on some games but no lag issues or anything. Not sure who said this card is only a tad bit better than the 8800gtx cause 8800gtx sli only did 36.8 fps with ultra at 1280x1024. Not so good. With PNY 260 gtx sli at 1920x1080 everything on ultra with 2AA you get about 40fps. Call of duty 4 on every benchmark run they did the 260gtx almost double the fps against the 8800gtx.

Cons: Pretty big card also when I got the card 2 months ago is was expensive now there dirt cheap. Go figures. Also tried to overclock the PNY model and cant do to much overclocking with these cards.

Other Thoughts: Well since DX11 is out I say go for a DX11 card.
