5 out of 5 eggsRebate Received!!!

Pros: Best value for low power and low heat while having decent game-play. Cannot believe how cool it runs - barely over room temps. My new fav for most users. Received the rebate within 30 days of applying! Fastest I have ever experienced from any company.

Cons: Price went up with no rebate.

Other Thoughts: I am so impressed with how little heat it generates that I will be using this for all my customers when I can, because I beleive that if the fan quit the heatsink alone could still keep this cool enough to continue operating correctly for the average user. Unlike most other graphics cards that I have had to replace and buy new heatsink/fan units to cool the GPU before they would operate correctly.

5 out of 5 eggsLightweight Card

Pros: Works fine, no serious issues. Doesn't require an additional power connector. Only takes up one slot

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Not the fastest, but a massive upgrade from the original 9100 integrated

5 out of 5 eggsNice Card!

Pros: So far so good. Sleek looking, fast, and had no problems installing. Running on High settings for SC2, but will try Maxiumum after reading the previous post. Cheap after MIR, which I better get or PNY loses 3 eggs.

Cons: Non yet, but I better get my rebate!

5 out of 5 eggstrounces my year old 9800GTX for $80

Pros: $80 after MIR
fast proc
quiet and cool HSF
minimal power requirements
no bridge required for SLi

Cons: 1GB of GDDR5 would have been nice but I get 0 slow down even with .5gB of it.

Other Thoughts: for the price, GDDR5 is unheard of. the card is properly fast. I run maximum settings on StarCraft II @1920x1200 and I get no graphic slow down

my rig is a dual core Phenom II 3.2GHz @ stock clock with locked cores, 4GB G-Skill DDR3, ancient hard drive, 380W antec PSU.

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet fast dual monitor only

Pros: Draws power only from the motherboard, no dedicated PSU power connection. Fan control works automatically and well. Fast with low power use. VGA, DVI, HDMI with audio.

Cons: None, card works as expected.

Other Thoughts: In case you are wondering. Only supports Dual monitors. Not three. The DVI and HDMI can not be used at the same time. This might be obvious to most, but I saw a reviewer here give a poor review because they thought the DVI and HDMI would work at the same time. For dual screen you have to use VGA and DVI. I have not testing VGA with HDMI. But you can not use all three at the same time.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat upgrade for OEM HPs

Pros: Used this to upgrade a client's HP Pavilion Elite (m9417c) factory nVidia 9300 GS. WEI on Windows 7 went from 3.9 with the 9300 GS to 6.8 with the GT 240. PassMark score increased from 658.6 to 883.2 and CPUIDMark Video increased from 136878 to 149088.

Card has a low PSU requirment, 300W, making it an ideal drop-in uograde for an OEM, such as the HP Pavilion Elite, that is notorious for having underpowered PSUs.

Cool and Quiet as well, even with a fan.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Newegg's shipping rocked socks again - ordered midday on Wednesday and had it on my doorstep 24hrs later!

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good

Pros: Has D-sub, DVI and HDMI connectors. Running current Nvidia official drivers. CPU load has dropped noticeably when playing media that can make use of the card. Card is not as power hungry as others I have seen.

Good price for what it offers. I feel that overall the ROI is way to low to warrant purchasing a lot of these newer or "Top end" video cards, this seemed to offer the best deal with what I would be doing.

Cons: None: It plays my games well and makes them look nice.

Other Thoughts: This card seems pretty good. Have not purchased a video card in awhile and it seems that the companies are making it painful to distinguish between various cards. With that said I took a risk on this since it was on sale and it has been working great so far.

Have not tried any type of overclocking.

2 out of 5 eggs50 /50

Pros: works great with microsoft media center HD tv shows. BUT BUT

Cons: on a 1080p tv with all updated drivers , nvidia, Flash, etc. Hulu is very choppy, HD xvid, and mkv very choppy. This machine also had 4 gigs of ram and core 2 duo. maybe good for games but very choppy with video files at 1080p
