5 out of 5 eggsGood product

Pros: I bought 2 of these for my sons new HP computers because the internal video card was not compatible with their Acer monitors I bought so I decided these were proper for what my kids needed out of their computers. A very good choice indeed. They have worked flawless since I placed them

Cons: none to mention.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Value

Pros: HDMI output, along with other outputs, price, no extra power needed.

Cons: Could have better memory or more Sprocs but I knew the specs when buying.

Other Thoughts: 25 dollars after rebate, or even 45 before the rebate is still great. These cards play Skyrim on medium and World of Warcraft on High-Ultra. I have no issues installing these cards or using them. They do not seem to generate much heat or sound, and there is no need for extra power cords. I can throw these into budget systems or higher grade systems.

I have purchased 5 already.

5 out of 5 eggsPNY Verto VCGG2101XPB GeForce 210 1GB

Pros: Excellent price/performance ratio.

SencneS: That fact that it has DDR2 RAM has *very little* to do with video tearing. The real cause is that the video engine processing speed can't keep up with occasionally very high demands. DDR3 RAM is only slightly faster than DDR2. You have been fooled by the idea that "new" is always much faster than "old".

Cons: Has a fan that is impossible to replace.

Other Thoughts: For the price you can't get much better.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great!!!

Pros: Installed in an older dell 530 core 2 duo (non-slim case) and has been running flawlessly! Also like the fact that it added no additional noise to my desktop and runs nice and cool even under a decent load (35 C or under). Please note that I do not use this for any kind of gaming.

Cons: Just wish I had waited a week or two until NE dropped the price $10 :-(

4 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: Cheap, works as advertised. Used in multimedia PC, no heavy demands placed on it, but performance was smooth.

Cons: Originally purchased for an old Dell Dimensions E520, where it worked perfectly fine and without any hitches. Put it in a Dell Inspiron 530 which resulted in BSOD without any solution (Known issue between 210 and Dell 530)

Other Thoughts: Good low end card for systems with 300 or less watt power supplies. If you are looking for a card for a machine that is not worth numerous component upgrades, this will do the trick.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This little guy can do a lot, for a single slot card, and at this price, it's very well worth it. As others have said, it can run wow well, won't break bank and is under $100.

Cons: When I first bought the card, WoW was running at 100+ fps somehow, now it's at 30, did not make any hardware changes between the fps decrease.

Other Thoughts: As somebody else said, I got this at Best Buy, that was when I knew almost nothing about GPU's or computers at all for that matter... Don't buy from "Best" Buy!! I paid twice this price there

3 out of 5 eggsDid what I needed it to do...

Pros: I wanted a cheap, HDMI Video card, to connect to a 1080p Plasma TV. This does that. Has all the makings of a decent low cost single application type card which you will not be playing game on.

The stock heat/sync and fan are quiet and keep the card at about 40C doing what I wanted it to do.

Cons: Has DDR2 RAM which is an issue with large screen sizes.
Some screen tearing happens every so often which is the sign of the card's limited speed on the RAM, it can't work the amount of data coming in fast enough at large resolutions.

Playing a DVD is fine, but using it for the Media Center was a little disappointing, and it's because it's DDR2 RAM. PNY Should have focused on reducing the bits and GPU power in favor of DDR3 or Better RAM.

Other Thoughts: I'm glad I only paid what I paid for it because the card will not feel like a huge mistake when it's replaced with a slightly better card.

Media Centers will become more popular as people stop renting DVD's from stores and simply use places like Netflix (even though they are going under). People will want a video card with HDMI that doesn't focus on 3D Gaming power but 2D Movie and Video/Picture processing.

Whoever comes out with a sub $40 card with HDMI that doesn't 3D great but makes Movies/DVD's/BluRays/Videos and Pictures look awesome, will have a great advantage.

I didn't want to dump $100 into a DDR3-5 RAM Card and I though DDR2 would be enough but it wasn't.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Budget Card

Pros: - Easy to Install
- In-expensive upgrade for an old PC that had 1 PCI-express x16 interface
- $20 rebate
- Bonus Movie and Game offer
- VGA, DVI, and HDMI outputs

Cons: I did decide to wipe out my audio until I was able to find out online you have to access your bios and enable the on board audio function. It had changed to auto but was unable to detect the on board sound card.

Other Thoughts: I will update this review in about 6 months if I come across any issues.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic buy!!

Pros: I am VERY happy with this video card!! I wanted something that would upgrade my computer's graphics without breaking the bank and one that also didn't require additional upgrades such as a bigger power supply. This card was exactly what I was looking for at a price that is awesome (especially with a $20 rebate!!) My computer's display looks amazing and the performance is superb!!

Cons: None observed so far...

Other Thoughts: I have never gone wrong with Newegg before, and this purchase continues to make me a happy Newegg customer. Good products with fast shipping at a great price...what more could you ask for!

5 out of 5 eggsgreat for the money

Pros: I watch lots of movies online and have this running my 42 inch along with my 20 inch monitor. It runs streeming HD really well and as far as I can tell it hasnt ever overheated. Allso runs NFS carbon on full, Crysis and Bad Company on medium grafix easy.

Cons: I bought it at Best Buy for a lot more than i could have got it here.

Other Thoughts: If you want to get things cheep you have to resist instant gratification.
