5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: I've been running dual Dell 19" 1280x1024 monitors primarily in Linux (Ubuntu, Linux Mint) for over 1.5 years without any issues. I have not found any games yet that this card cannot run at near-max settings at 1280x1024.

Cons: Too old to support DX11/OpenGL 4.0

5 out of 5 eggsGood Purchase

Pros: I needed a moderately priced card for a new build. This card seemed liked the right combination of performance and price, especially with the rebate. I was a little worried about the rebate, but PNY did come through with it. Very happy with the performance and the overall stability of the card.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Perfect for my needs (occasional games, some interest in CUDA and PhysX).

Cons: Several dozen watts power usage when idle. These things are like the Hummers of computing. I knew what I was getting myself into.

4 out of 5 eggsReview

Pros: Run nicely, reduce lag for games, lag reduced for google sketchup when working on high quality model w/lots of polygon....other than that got this card for 70 bucks w/out rebate and was happy

Cons: loud start up...so big that it covered 2 sata slot in my mobo....but anyway its an OEM mobo from hp so whatever

Other Thoughts: cards run good, no Dx11, but later in the future this makes the perfect physx card if ur hardcore and want something cheap that run physx

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I have an older custom system, something that was made for back when i graduated high school back in '07. I casually game, mainly WOW, but I've thrown in some other ones every now and again. Anyways, my system needed new life in the graphics department, so i found this card for sale for like $65 or something on Cyber Monday. And i couldn't be happier. Boosted my WEI rating a large amount and i can now max/ultra out all the games i play. If my motherboard could support cross firing, i probably would've gotten two since they were on sale. Great product.

Cons: Not really a con, but the CD that came with a fairly large scratch on it, so much so that my computer couldn't recognize that it was there. But like i said, not really an issue since the drivers were out of date anyways and Windows 7 is great with finding drivers on its own.

5 out of 5 eggsamazing deal for great card.

Pros: plays everything I've thrown at it on high at 1600x1200 usual with 4x AA enabled with 40fps . talking skyrim, battlefield 3.

amazing cooling. under load I never get above 60c and thats with the fan at 30%.

Cons: wouldn't pay 107 bucks for it. I got it for 69.99 with free shipping here during holliday sale.

Other Thoughts: great mid range dx10 card. it performs exactly the same as a 9800gtx÷, in facr its almost the exact same card renamed.

5 out of 5 eggsG92 is Still Doing Great!!!

Pros: Was originally looking at a Nvidia 420 to build a ultra low cost gaming machine but after looking at the preformance reviews this GTS250 was eating it's lunch and only costed twenty bucks more.
Plays Brink, Portal, HaLf Life2, Team Fortress2 on fully maxed out settings and 1280 x 1024(limited by my monitor).

Opteron 1218 He x2
NeoHe 500 (sli)
2gig (6400)
Super Micro H8tSMI-2

Cons: As long as you don't have your heart set on any DX11 only games this card is still very healthy!

Other Thoughts: First time buying from PNY and I have to say I'm impressed with the build quality.

4 out of 5 eggsGoing great so far!

Pros: * Runs Skyrim smoothly on Ultra settings (with 4xAA and 8xAF at 1680x1050)

* Blows through any Source games

* Supports dual monitors like a dream

* Was packaged well

* Came with necessary (and possibly unnecessary) adapters—2-molex to 6-pin power converter, DVI to HDMI converter, DVI to VGA converter, and what I assume is an SLI bridge cable.

Cons: * Drivers on the CD are old, but then again the card is an older model. New drivers are available from Nvidia online.

* Box had an expired offer for a free movie, but Newegg didn't say anything about it, so I didn't lose out on anything I expected.

* Instructions are generic to many or all PNY Nvidia cards, so you have to make a few assumptions

Other Thoughts: * I've still got to test how it does with my Spyder3 calibration device and its software suite.

* FANTASTIC upgrade from my old Radeon HD 3650

* It's a long card. It comes half an inch from the back of my HDD in a full-size ATX tower case.

4 out of 5 eggsgood card

Pros: Good card, no problems noticed yet. Not a gamer but do appreciate good graphics, especially after having an older card go bad and cut out for several weeks. Frustrating, and then this was delivered to the neighbors!

Cons: The bottom was scuffed up and the outside box it came in was squashed a bit.

Other Thoughts: Newegg packers put the card in its box in the bottom of the shipping box, and then throw all the packing on top. Doesn't do any good at all if the bottom with the merchandise gets damaged. The card sliding around in the box loose probably caused the scuffing but as long as it worked. Now where's my rebate papers for this?

5 out of 5 eggsSuper Satisfied!!

Pros: DUDE. This thing has gotten me through almost any game. I run BC2 55-90 fps all the time. My monitor resolution is 1024x1280, but on a 21" monitor 1920x1080 it gets around 45- 75 anytime. never dips. I need a new card for BF3, but it still runs everything on Medium, no AA, 4x AF, and textures on high. EXTREMELEY reliable card. The 1gb REALLY helps with loading times and larger-ish maps.

Cons: Not really a con, but the temp is very stable. Can get hot, around 78-79C, maybe because my case isnt too well cooled xP but it will never go higher.

Other Thoughts: This is a great card, i upgraded this from my 9500 gt, gave it too my friend. But the 9500 gt run suprisingly well on his computer. THIS CARD ROCKS! Great money for the value and gets the job done. Gtx 560 ti 2gb is next!
