4 out of 5 eggsTOO HOT TO HANDLE

Pros: I didn't buy this card from Newegg, but I wished that I did. The playback is AWESOME in Premiere Pro CS6 and After Effects CS6. It can still handle high resolution video games as well.

Cons: There's one thing that kept bugging me with this card. WHY IS IT GETTING SOOOOO HOT. Temps were reaching upwards of 79° C at idle. Googled the problem, turns out that's what PNY and Nvidia considered normal. Except my PC kept freezing and shutting down because of the ambient heat that it was causing. Bought an ARTIC hybrid water cooler and temps dropped to the Mid to upper 40s running fully compressed HD rendering in Premier pro CS6. (Even at full compression in the summer time, the fan never gets up to full speed.)

Other Thoughts: GET THE WATER COOLER as well!

5 out of 5 eggsWhat we needed

Pros: Nvidia Quadro 4000
extras in box for every configuration!
dose everything we need it to do and much more!

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: its a longer card then the older Quadro cards just take that into consideration when your building!

This was the first choice when we decided to upgrade our workstations for our design department on a budget!

Glad we chose these cards

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent card:

Pros: This is a great card!.
A must for all 3ds Modelers/Game Developers (like myself),Max/MAYA;if one can afford it....everything else is gravy.Good investment!.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Good investment in my opinion; one card will get stuff done;it's all depends. Two cards will (for sure) do a lot more of course....that's my next move, soon.
I recommend this card to all serious graphic or not users.

5 out of 5 eggsdecent card

Pros: Runs Autocad and Revit very well. Install was a breeze, nothing unusual about installing drivers and other software.

Cons: I have graphics cards at half the cost that score better in windows experience index. Not sure where the perks are yet. Need to do some more performance testing.

Other Thoughts: I would definately consider a less expensive card if the performance demand is not there at all times.

5 out of 5 eggsSmokin!

Pros: I am running two of these things in my Dell Precision T3600 at work, with three monitors, and a 6 core CPU, and they make for a smokin fast combo. These things laugh at video games, and easily handle running Autocad, Revit, Sketchup, and more, all at once. Really screaming!!

Cons: The price is still pretty unholy, but at least my company bought them instead of me.

4 out of 5 eggsGood GPU, Very Hot Temps!

Pros: Powerful
Relatively quiet

This thing chomps through GPU renders and viewports in 3D environments with ease. It calculates every pixel perfectly and is meant for quality, not quantity.

Cons: Temperature!

Be advised, not a good gaming card. Read other thoughts for details:

Other Thoughts: This GPU is very powerful, but very limited in capability. Drivers can be a bit on the glitchy side and I've had the card overheat during a render or two. If you are looking for a good GPU that delivers FPS or gaming functionality, this is not your best choice.

Make sure you get a good, cool case or a cooling solution for the GPU. The ambient temps can get to 62c and full load gets to 85c+! Manufacturer guarantees performance to around 95-100c and it is widely known that these cards run hot. Just be aware, this GPU is meant for specialized 'all-terrain' purposes.

Do your research before buying, make sure you get a good GPU for the purposes you intend to use it for.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Card

Pros: I have owned this video card for 9 months now and I must say it runs like a champ. As a user of SolidWorks (2012 & 2013 beta) and AutoCAD I have had 0 performance and driver issues.

Cons: Price - if I have any complaints about anything Quadro related it's the price of the cards, they destroy my IT budget, this card was 40% of the price of the rest of the fast PC I built and I am also sad to see that even though I came back to order a second card for a new PC, after 9 months the price has not dropped one bit

Other Thoughts: I see people say it runs a little hot but I have never had any over heating issues even when our AC went out for 3 days during our record setting heat wave. I guess these people either have low ventilated cases stored under their desk in closed areas.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks just fine for me

Pros: Reliable, Powerful

Cons: Too many drivers to choose from, Expensive

Other Thoughts: Took me a while to find the right driver to use for 3ds Max, but now that I did, it's been working like a charm. Also, install MSI Afterburner to keep the temp regulated. Never once had a problem with this card. Only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the price.

3 out of 5 eggsOkay

Pros: Nice 3d card.

Cons: Nvidia Control panel is the pits. My first card Died after a month of use. I think It had something to do with overheating. I am runnning AE, PR, SolidWorks, AutoDesk, and Inventor (not all at the Same time). Dual Screens as well. I couldn't even hear the fan rev up when I had two 3d programs running. I Download MSI After burner after my RMA. Now I have complete control over this card. I maintain a tmep of 62 C now on idle 64% fan speed.

Other Thoughts: Nvidia...not a fan of them.
