5 out of 5 eggsvery good

Pros: I purchased one of these to use with a previously owned one to make a sli setup for FC3 playing with Ziggy's Mod. I get 60 fps on Ultra everything at 1080P. Looks wonderful and plays smooth. Using i53350 lowest priced i5. Using 16 Gb 1300 memory dDR3. using Samsung 840 plain SSD. ASrock extreme 4 Z77 board. Overclock to 3.5 or so, with nonK OC program just uses Turbo all the time in games.

Cons: Great, looked new, no problems, you don't get extras with this, just the card and disc in nice package from PNY. Am sold on their refurbs. Like new.

Other Thoughts: AM happy till QHD comes mature.

5 out of 5 eggsNice

Pros: It's my first mid range card, and I'm very satisfied. Got this with a shellshocker + coupon code combo for very cheap, and the performance is just a little bit below the average 560 ti. Got P4363 3DMarks score.

Cons: I'm not sure this can handle the very very latest games on ultra high quality at >40 fps... maybe at 20~30fps. If you want that, well, buy a better card then! This is the most cost efficient geforce card >$100 ATM, IMO

Other Thoughts: I have a phenom II x4 3.2ghz so I dunno if that could have impacted my 3dmark score.

4 out of 5 eggsWorking fine

Pros: Shellshocker price, it's a reference design(also a con) so most watercooling solutions for the 560 Ti will work.
Plays nice with my Gigabyte 560 Ti in SLI.

Cons: It's a reference design so it's loud, it's louder than my top card is at higher settings.

Other Thoughts: I bought this because of price, took a chance on a refurb, it paid off. Other than noise from the cooler it's a great card.

After seeing warmer than I care for temps on my top card during heavy sessions of Crysis 2 MP and even worse Crysis Wars of 80c. I'm definitely going to water cool it and move it to the top slot. The bottom card gets warm too, but an acceptable temp.

Funny Fact: The card runs cooler, playing BF3 MP(manually capped @ 80 FPS) than Crysis Wars or Crysis 2 MP with Vsync on @ 60 FPS. I just figured 48-64 player madness with destruction in B2K maps would be more demanding.

5 out of 5 eggsPNY Refurbs

Pros: Refurb Price Of 189.00 ! For those of you with artifacts the default fan speeds are inadequate, or your case air flow is not keeping it cool. All my PNY refurbs...465's included need to be set above 60% all the time for optimum cooling. Anything above 70C is cause for airflow concern. EVGA Presision and MSI Afterburner both remedy this problem.

Cons: Most people dont set fan speeds for gaming, blame the card or manufacturer and hence bad reviews.

Other Thoughts: My experience with PNY refurbs has always been very satisfactory. ANd ive saved a ton of cash because of them.

1 out of 5 eggsA defective video card

Pros: The video card fit in my case and installed in Windows OK.

Cons: This refurbished (will never do that again) video card that I bought as a Shell Shocker was clearly defective after I tried it out on several games. I saw numerous visual artifacts (um, no, those are not flies buzzing around my monitor, those are black dots being created by my "new" video card!) and inabilities to properly render scenes (whole areas of the screen would turn into weird shades or improperly draw items). Not good at all!

Other Thoughts: Irrespective of whether this was a bad video card or not, I am quite ticked off with NewEgg's return policy. I successfully RMA'ed this video card and got a refund, but I think it was totaly unfair that I had to pay return shipping costs on a product that clearly was defective. If *I* change my mind on a product, or if *I* goofed up when ordering, fine, I'll pay the return shipping. But for a retailer to send me a defective product and then have *me* pay the return shipping costs has really irked me. As far as I'm concerned, NewEgg's customer service isn't the same that it used to be...

4 out of 5 eggsGood Price but had to underclock

Pros: Very good price, fast card

Cons: Had some issues with games crashing and the driver has encountered and error issues many have with these cards. Loaded the old driver (270.61) and cleared that up however was getting artifacts in games, stress tests and browsing the Internet. I assume because Firefox using video acceleration. I ran Furmark and Heaven DX 11 stress tests and continually backed the memory speed down and it is now stable at reference speeds (2000). I don;t mind having to under-clock it but I'm considering seeing if I can get a replacement just to be safe.

5 out of 5 eggsexcellent card for a bargain price

Pros: Performance
Maintains low temperatures
Supports HDMI
Supports DirectX 11

Cons: Did not come with a mini HDMI to HDMI adapter

Other Thoughts: This video card offers incredible performance levels for the amount I paid for it. I bought this off of Newegg's Shell Shocker deal for basically 40% off the normal price. The card plays every game I have thrown at it while utilizing maximum screen resolution and graphical details, without any issues. This is an upgrade for an aging EVGA Geforce 8800GTS (512MB) that has performed flawlessly for the past 4 years. I only hope I can get another 4 years of use from this card as well.

Current system specs:

Intel Q6600 Quad Core Processor (2.4 GHz)
Asus P5N-D motherboard
8 GB Patriot Viper Memory (DDR2 800)
PNY Geforce GTX 560 Ti video card
Western Digital 500GB Hard Drive
Western Digital 750GB Hard Drive
Cooler Master Mystique case
Cooler Master 750w Power Supply

5 out of 5 eggsSweet, sweet SLI setup

Pros: Either of the two can soundly beat my old 9800GTX+ -- there is no comparison between them at all; absolutely outstanding performance!
They are fairly quiet most of the time. Decent idle temps (one ~32C other ~40C)
The Newegg 'special price' when I got them absolutely could not be beaten.
SLI is working great!

Cons: If being refurbished is a 'con', then it's a con. I've gotten refurb cards from other vendors before and so far had good experiences every time.

Other Thoughts: Was concerned about power usage. As others have stated, it is very difficult to find the power specs for these. Had a Corsair Professional 650HX, but was concerned about long-term degradation. Switched supplies with another machine which had a Corsair TX750 (first gen) supply. No problems.

Somewhat disappointed that, while it's a 2-slot design, it appears that most of the heat is dumped inside the case. I have a HAF 922 case with extra fans, so I'm not worried in my setup, but others should be aware of this; it could be bad for smaller cases with less than optimal air-flow!

These cards should last a little while... I'm hoping! ;)

5 out of 5 eggsUnexpected Pluses

Pros: First off, let me say that I was quite satisfied with my previous vista hybrid crossfire setup. Obviously this was a step up from that, so the improved game performance is not unexpected.

What was unexpected for me was that the overall performance of my system improved since almost everything is now graphics accelerated. From the aero desktop to browsing with chrome, my system has no lag on anything anymore.

Cons: I did not see any pwer requirements mentioned in the newegg specs list. Also, I could not find a page for this product on pny's website, but what looks to be an identical card with a nearly identical part number was VCGGTX560TXPB requires at least a 500w power supply. I believe 500w is the minimum standard for a card of this size, but could be wrong there. I upraded my power supply to 500w and have had no problems, but wonder if the issues others complain about are because of they did not upgrade their power supply the way I did.

5 out of 5 eggslove it!!!

Pros: got it at the daily deal price, so i couldnt be happier with the price and performance. if the price ever drops agian ill buy another. i went from a 6770 to this, so i was really amazed with the graphics! my jaw dropped the first time i fired up battlefield 3!

Cons: the fan cover has little scratches all over it, not like you can see it with it installed so no biggy. not worth an egg.

Other Thoughts: i5 2500k oc
gigabyte z68xp-ud3p
g.skill sniper low volt 8 gb oc
pny, geforce 560 ti oc
raidmax modular 630 watts
