5 out of 5 eggs230 watt power supply friendly

Pros: operates in low wattage power supply computers.

run flawlessly in a 230 watt power supply desktop

Cons: this card is bought for low cost dual monitor solution for a SOHO environment - gaming performance is just average.

Other Thoughts: Good SOHO video card for adding a 2nd monitor.
Average gaming performance.

5 out of 5 eggsGood, low cost video card

Pros: I am a PC/Network tech for my county school district. We needed a good, inexpensive card for the Dell Optiplex 780's in one of our CAD labs.

Installed video card with no issues, and the card has exceptional quality video, and resolved some of the issues we were having with the onboard video.

Reading some of the other reviews, I am confused as to the statements about NO FAN. This card comes with a cooling fan mounted to the heat sink.

Cons: None noted at this time. Only had the card for a day, but looks great!

5 out of 5 eggsMore than expected

Pros: I got this to throw in a 2005 HP Workstation that I got for free. It works great. Plays lower quality games (Minecraft) with no problem. The computer had a 3Ghz P4 Processor that was holding things back still. I built a new gaming rig over the past few months and the card is now way better.

With the card in here, I can play a lot of games with decent FPS. The only game it struggles with is GTA 4. Otherwise Black Ops 2 looks ok and plays with a good constant FPS on Medium to lower settings. I can play both LFD 1 and LFD 2 with amazing fps and everything on high. I'm not looking for great fps, just enough. And this card delivers. And for $40 instore and $35 on newegg, you cant beat it if you want a little better performance. I'm planning on upgrading because I want to be able to play some more advanced games. but this card is great for someone who wants to try some PC gaming. Basically a good starter card.

And I don't get why people complain about the software. I've installed it on XP Pro and Win 7 Ult. without a problem. It only takes around 5 minutes to install.

Also, this card fits into half height computer cases so it will work with nearly every computer with a PCI-E card slot!

Cons: Don't know if this is the card or the motherboard, but I had troubles installing into my 2 systems. Like just placing the card in the slot. Not enough to deduct an egg.

Other Thoughts: Like I said, great for the person who wants to give gaming a try without committing to a $150 card. Or just a great card for the average gamer.

1 out of 5 eggsvideo turns off

Pros: Quiet and inexpensive

Cons: I have bought maybe a half dozen or so of these cards that have been installed in a variety of PCs with XP and Win7. Without warning the video blanks out and does not return unless the PC is rebooted. The O/S seems to running fine, just no video. I normally powerdown or reboot and the video comes back for a short while then blanks out again without warning. I always had the latest NVidia drivers installed.

Other Thoughts: I have had good experiences with most other PNY video cards, just not these! Sometimes these cards come with fans and sometimes they did not. The ones with fans seem OK, the ones without the fan are the ones I'm having issues with. Don't buy these cards.

5 out of 5 eggsPNY GeForce 210

Pros: Purchased a new 24" monitor and the PNY Graphics Card as I will not be playing any high speed games. Installed drivers with no problem and the card drives my monitor with no problems and the picture is great quality watching a 1080p movie.

Cons: None at this time.

Other Thoughts: I am running Windows 7 Ultimate on a Dell Dimension 8400, CPU: Pentium 4 Hyper Threading. Installed the correct drivers for the correct Operating System (ie: 32-bit or 64-bit). Updated the drivers with windows update and away I went. Install took under 10 minutes.

1 out of 5 eggsRegularly Crashes System

Pros: Fanless - Inexpensive

Cons: I get a Video Drive error on a daily or more frequentl basis using this card. My systems locks-up and has to be revooted.

The Video Driver was downloaded from rhw Nvidia WEB Site,

I subsequently replaced this with a EVG 9800GT and the system had operated without futher problem. The reason I used this PNY card is that the 9800GT is total overkill for the application.

Other Thoughts: Typically I have stayed away from PNY - and should have remembered why. Suggest you use something better than this card. Problems with its random failures cost me a week of troubleshooting - and far more $$$ that purchase differential of a GT-430 Video Adapter.

3 out of 5 eggsGame Download expired yet still being offered here NO Low brackets included

Pros: No Fan, quiet

Cons: Why would PNY sell a low profile card and not include the brackets for it? are you going to sell them as optional accesories? That's why I bought a low profile card on the first place
The Game download voucher on the box expired on December 2011 yet it still being offered ans part of the deal.
