The GeForce GTX 660 Ti adds a new dimension to the game-changing NVIDIA Kepler-powered family of graphics cards by delivering the ideal combination of performance, power efficiency, and affordability. It's a must-have upgrade for today's hottest and most demanding games.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA AntiAliasing Antialiasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new antialiasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This GPU is Fantastic, it can run nearly every game on High/Ultra settings.

Cons: the only setback is that the PNY series is now discontinued but that makes sense because the 700 series is now out.

Other Thoughts: Great Starter GPU

2 out of 5 eggsdecent priced card

Pros: Works great with nearly any game on max settings.

Cons: The stock fan is horrible. The fan doesn't cool off the card as you would expect, and I'm playing Skyrim. Before replacing the fan I contacted customer service because my warranty was still good since I only had it for 8months. Got nothing from PNY. I replaced the fan and 1 month later its over heating again with an arctic model gpu fan.

Other Thoughts: I may have gotten a defective model but with a warranty that doesn't apply and bad customer service. I'm never buying pny ever again. Hence only 2 eggs because most other reviews say its good. I would only suggest buying this for the average gamer.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great card for a good price. Runs Battlefield 3 at max at 1080p without a problem, don't really notice the extra noise or heat in my case, lifetime warranty. PNY has pretty good tech support.

Cons: Uses 2 slots, only 1 fan.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card for Casual Enthusiasts

Pros: This was an ideal upgrade for me. I had been running a 5750 for quite some time, milking what I could out of it in games on low settings. This is my first experience with NVIDIA and I am very pleased. Card runs all games at Ultra or near Ultra settings on my 1080p 46 inch TV. I use my PC for mainly media but also games more recently while the consoles have reached the end of their cycles and the crossover PC versions are nicer on the Eye.

I am not a super-enthusiast so not maxing out settings is not a concern but I must say that nearly every game is at Ultra or between the preset Very High and Ultra settings running at 60FPS.

I cannot emphasize enough that the GeForce Experience software is worth paying an extra $50 for. It automatically upgrades optimal game settings and drivers if desired. It basically takes the guess-work out of setting up settings for most games. I recently played Tomb Raider and every day or every other day it updated the settings as new tests were ran.

This service coupled with my happiness with the card as a whole is causing me to consider getting a second to run SLI

Also, though PNY is the base model of the 660 TI, it comes with a LIFETIME WARRANTY! All you do is easily register the card on their site (which it prompts you to do when you are setting up the initial drivers) and you are covered!

Cons: These are not serious cons so they don't detract an egg, however coupled would make me consider giving it a 4 egg instead of 5.

-PNY is the base model of these cards and thus you get slightly less performance than the bigger brothers from EVGA etc. That said, PNY offers the lifetime warranty so there is your trade off. Realistically if you are buying this card at this point you are not the serious enthusiast and so the slightly lower performance for the warranty trade-off is likely appealing. I did not know about the warranty until after I bought it.

-It only running 10-20 dollars less than the better versions can be considered a con, but again, the warranty.

-A final slight gripe is I reached out to their customer support for information on a step-up program like EVGA (I think them) has but I did not receive a response. This is more of a potential gripe if I need true help in the future

Other Thoughts: I am not a top enthusiast for games. I OC and am a general PC enthusiast but PC is not my primary game device (usually).

I am running an older system right now so this is the shiny piece to the puzzle so I may be glossy-eyed

My Rig:

AMD Phenom xii B50 (OC Quad Core to 3.5Ghz)
8GB (2x4GB) RAM
80GB SSD for Boot and current Game
750GB WD Black for infrequent programs and temp
2TB WD Green for media
Windows 8

This card is for those individuals with a budget looking to get a card that can run most games at max to near max settings at 1080p resolution. I did get this at $200 with the MIR and promo which was a steal. I would not hesitate to buy another for ~$250 for SLI and had I known it's performance going in would not hesitate to buy at the current price of $279 for 1 card.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great performance, good price, lifetime warranty (with registration)

Cons: 2 slot (duh), 2 power's, single reference fan doesn't have ummph of others (guessing)

Other Thoughts: Fan not noticeable at idle over my other components (nor at load for that matter, but my CPU fan is also more noisy at load...), from what I'm seeing card maxes at 77C when stress testing (30min Unreal Heaven bench), usually around 64C while gaming.

5 out of 5 eggsLoving this card

Pros: I'd been waiting for the right card for my price/performance needs. When this card dropped, I paired it with an AMD Vishera 8320 and 16GB of Gskill ripjaws. A modest build on an MSI 970A-G46, it far exceeded expectations.

The card I used previously wasn't a sloucher. I was using a Galaxy GTX 465 and it was running fine. I upgraded because I wanted to future proof my system and I was building a second computer to put the GTX 465 in.

TL-DR: If you don't want to spend 400+ on a higher end GTX card, this one will do just fine. It's fast as h3ll and it runs cool/quiet.

Cons: I ordered mine months ago and missed the Metro: Last Light coupon. Oh well.

Other Thoughts: You won't be disappointed in this card. It's extremely fast and stable. I'm looking into grabbing a second for SLI soon.

5 out of 5 eggsI love this card

Pros: I cant say enough good things about this card. It works flawlessly. Every game I have tried to play, MechWarrior Online and Assassain Creed III, it has played flawless on Ultra and all extreme settings.

I think this was a super deal for me, and I will probably add an additional one in future to put into SLI, that is, if I ever need to. right now, it runs everything super fast, even when using multiple monitors.

I DL lots of movies and TV series. I have been using this card to display on my Vizio 55" LCD and 60" LED. Get a BRIP, and it looks just like my $200 Blu ray player and a real BR.

Cons: None as of now... I am very pleased.

Other Thoughts: If you can get this on a deal, then grab it, it worth its weight in gold!!!

4 out of 5 eggsImpressed

Pros: Overclocks quite well. Ram overclocked to 7008mhz and actual core clock hit somewhere around 1123mhz.

Cons: Reference cooler (This thing is HOT) ; before overclock stress test gave me temps around 80, after overclock about 85.

Other Thoughts: Bought it else where but truthfully I was impressed.
Also the max temp for this card is like 95 degrees so you should be okay. The temps however do limit the card, when cooler it spiked up to 1189 mhz but settled at 1123 as it began to heat up.
I got like P9000 after overclock if that helps about p8000 without on 3dmark 11.

5 out of 5 eggspny 660 ti

Pros: Runs all of my games at max settings in 1080p at very playable frame rates. (Planetside 2, lol, natural selection, and many more)

Cons: I haven't had any problems with temperatures or noise like some previous reviews ( I do wear a headset) but no problems for me

Other Thoughts: Very nice price to performance, going to have a hard time finding a better value. Considering getting another card but I have not looked up the scaling of this card in sli yet. If I do buy another I will do a review on it in sli.

1 out of 5 eggsPNY video card

Pros: my PNY video card was awesome and fast.

Cons: PNY tech support is horrible. My cards fan stopped working making it overheat and shut down my computer. When I emailed, they could not find my registration and therefore no warranty support, even though i have my invoice.
