Easy Peasy
- Pros: Easy Install, Big Bang for Your Buck, Works fine on 350W power supply.
- Cons: None So Far
- Other Thoughts: Upgraded Dell Dimension 8400's ATI X550 to the GeForce 7600GS and have seen a VAST improvement.
Works fine on 350W power supply.
very pleased
- Pros: It's the cheapest 7600 GS you can get. Works well, no problems out of the box. Pretty quiet. Overall, very satisfied with the performance at this price point. Handles games well, I see a significant increase in performance over my old 7300 GT.
- Cons: Aging technology; this is the low-end of the mid-range of a series that's almost two generations old. If you need to be on the cutting edge and play the latest games at the highest settings, this card isn't for you (and you likely already know that). Not much in the way of accessories/extras (CD is basically just drivers, one s-video cable, one dvi-vga).
- Other Thoughts: I never knew ECS made video cards until now. I had one of their motherboards at one point and it definitely worked. I remember the packaging was very bland it seemed kind of chintzy. Imagine my delight at opening the NewEgg box to find an incredibly handsome package; matte-black and green, mostly. The box inside of that was atypical from other cards I've bought. Not much in the way of substance, but very stylish and pleasing to the eye. I'm very happy with it.
