5 out of 5 eggsworks great with 64-bit ubuntu 10.04

Pros: Powered down PC, installed card, powered back up, enabled/installed the proprietary "current" nvidia driver ("Hardware drivers" in the "Administration" menu), then rebooted. Not one single problem so far! HUGE improvement over built-in intel video.

Cons: None at this time.

Other Thoughts: As always, Newegg delivered right on time.

5 out of 5 eggsno problems, just works

Pros: plug and play
Dual-link DVI
cheap

Cons: not the latest and greatest

Other Thoughts: I just got a new monitor that has a native resolution of 2560x1440 and needed a Dual link DVI to drive it. This card fit the bill at a very reasonable price. Plugged right in to my PCIe x16 slot, booted up, installed the drivers. It automatically detected the monitor and ran it at the native resolution. I'm not doing lots of high-intensity games or anything. Mainly plan to do photo editing and general web surfing and computing.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: I put this through the wringer and it came out smelling like roses. It's the cheapest GeForce card I found with DDR3, and in today's economy, cheap is sometimes more important than good. It ran incredibly well and I love it!

Cons: -

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card!

Pros: Great card, got it to run Lord of the Rings online on Very High. Lags just a bit on Ultra High in certain area's but otherwise pretty happy with it.

Cons: would be nice if it had all 3 connections

Other Thoughts: for the price and the fact that I can actually play LOTRO I think this was a great buy.

Win 7
3g Mem
AM3 2.4 on M4A785-M board

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Easy install, Ubuntu detected them immediately, and setup was almost automatic. I bought 2 and installed them to support 4 displays, and things could not have gone better.

Cons: Crummy manual, I hooked them up DVI, so the lack of DVI/VGA converters was not a problem.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Card

Pros: This card works on everything we have:
-Tested great on DDO, Oblivion, Fallout 3, CS:S, and more on high or very high detail settings. This card plays games great for an unbeatable price and performs close to a 8600GT/8800GT which cost about double what this card does.

Cons: No VGA adapter included (2x DVI)

Other Thoughts: Tested on P4 2.8 w/1gb ram, XP, 80gb hard drive
Dell optiplex GX280 tower.

If your into gaming but don't want to spend a ton on the most current hardware available, this one's for you!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: Dual DVI
512MB 128-bit GDDR3
No power connector required

Cons: No adapters
Almost can be considered OEM for all you get is the card and drivers

Other Thoughts: Bought this card to upgrade from a 7300LE so I can run dual DVI monitors. Works perfectly. Best card for the money.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card for the price

Pros: Handles HD content easily

Cons: None to report thus far. Using this to replace an 8500 GT which I sold to a friend.

Other Thoughts: The price was great for this card which is slowly but surely coming to end of life...

What else can I say about NVIDIA GeForce cards other than they're great! Installed this in my HTPC to replace the 8500 GT card I had and with the DDR3 memory on the 9500 GT handles all applications and all HD / HDCP content effortlessly.

Thanks the newegg.ca for the amazing shipping times and price.
