5 out of 5 eggsMore than i expected

Pros: This card pushes more performance and quality than i thought it would. I run COD:4 and GTA IV with no lag whatsover. Clock speeds are awesome and it makes a perfect card to start with when it comes to the newest of games.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsYou get what you pay for

Pros: *Great quality for pricing
*Ideal for casual/high end gamers
*You can easily notice the difference in games from updating from any of the GeForce 9xxx series!
*SLI expandable

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: I was skeptical at first because I didn't know if I would see a huge difference from jumping to a Geforce 9800 to this, but I can now run Dragon Age: Origins on full specs without any major slowdowns. The combat is fluent and clean now. I don't have a very powerful system either, so seeing the capabilities of this card was impressive.

5 out of 5 eggsGood card for the price

Pros: This is a good card for the price. A freak accident robbed me of my GTX260 216sp's, and after a few month's of research and deliberation, I decided that I might be more inclined to go the route of the older generation cards in an SLI configuration, since my motherboard supports it. The newer cards are simply too expensive per each for me to consider buying another one or upgrading to the GTX400 series....yet (see other thoughts). Two of these in SLI (planning to make the second one the 1GB model for 1.5GB of memory) just seemed a bit more cost effective overall.

Cons: None at this time.

Other Thoughts: If you have a higher budget and a better processor than me (Core2Duo e6750@2.66GHz) then go for the GTX460. The performance gains in DX10 are epic, and although tessellation/DX11 aren't fully up to speed yet, it will give you a nice bit of future-proofing. The only reason I didn't save up for one is because my CPU and RAM speed would seriously bottleneck the graphics card, making it a pointless upgrade. I am saving that purchase for my new build, later next year.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Video Card Owned

Pros: Since 2004 i have not built a computer or even upgraded my video card when i purchased this and placed it into my new dream computer it ran smoothly and quietly with only having to find the 64 bit drivers online

Cons: It plays crysis at almost full specs? lol not a bad card at all

Other Thoughts: The card looks like its low quality but it runs like a top notch video card

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card!

Pros: This card is great, Shipped quick, And Runs WoW 1920x1080 on ultra settings 50 fps in Dal. Awesome. Has 3D feature wich is cool, Its very quiet and overall its a great high end card and i might SLI later.

Cons: Huge, Way bigger than i thought it would be, i acually had to Bend my SATA cable where it plugs into my mobo over so it could fit that biatch in. but it was worth it i geuss. kinda bulcky, i built my computer, with an HP pavillion case, so i geuss i should expect a tight fit. Oh well, its running fine.

Other Thoughts: The drivers that came with it are only for vista x36bit and w7 x36 bit, i have w7 x64 bit so i had to download it off of nvidias site, thought i autta let you know.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far so good!

Pros: Good price, and has a rebate

After looking through all of the different benchmarks vs Price I decided on the GTS 250.

So far it handles all of my games with everything maxed out including the driver settings

Soon I'll pick up another and give SLI a go.

Cons: Fan gets a bit loud when on full speed, but I have only heard it hit full speed while booting up.

Really a motherboard issue but with the card on the top slot it blocks one of my PCI slots and on the other if I install my sound card it blocks the fan on the video card.
I had to move the video card to the bottom PCIE slot.

Other Thoughts: When I decide to get another I will need to drop my sound card or switch back to the onboard audio, or spend the money on a express sound card.

5 out of 5 eggsJust Awesome

Pros: I bought this card for gaming and folding. This card folds about 4000-6300 PPD using the GPU2 client (which is amazing). This card can run WoW and Dynasty Warriors 6 on its maximum settings quite easily.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: When the card is under full useage, the temperatures seem to rise to about 74c. Now i've read many forums were it says a card can safely handle up to about 80-90c, some even over 100c (which i can't imagine). In anycase i'm using 1 fan to push air into the case, the PSU and another fan to pull air out of the case. The PSU drops to about 40c when not in use, 74c highest using somewhat okay air cooling.

Long card. I put this into a computer that wasn't meant to be upgraded, so the card pushes against the hard drives wires in a bad way. If you guys ever place a hard drive, don't put it exactly were the PCIe slot is.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Free game
Mail in rebate
Plays games very well
Fan is quiet most of the time

Cons: The free Vegas 2 game turns out to be the original Vegas with a '2' in all the right places. Lame. -1 egg!

Other Thoughts: A huge leap forward in technology compared to my FX5200. Rainbow Six Vegas looks just as good as the Xbox version.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat value

Pros: There in expensive and do the job. I have a 2 way SLi set up and it is running great. Running Crysis Warhead with no problems what so ever.

Cons: There cooling kinda sucks. Most of the warm air is pushed into the case and not out the back. Other then that there really is no cons.

Other Thoughts: Thought there cheap enough and ran well enough i bought another to go to a 3 way SLi will post again to let you know how that goes.

windows 7
AMD 965 4.0ghz OC
Foxconn Destroyer mobo
gskill 8gig ddr2 1066 ram
2.75 TB HDD space
ECS GTS 250 2 way SLi Adding 3rd tomorrow

5 out of 5 eggsGood card

Pros: Nicely made budget gaming card! Sturdy pcb , good effective cooler, not alot of fan noise! Fits nicely in my mid atx elcheapo case. Power connector is on top of card. Stays cool

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: My first ecs product, and I really like it! No problems! Runs my dx9 games with ease maxed out :). Pretty much same size as my old 7900gs
