5 out of 5 eggsGood Card

Pros: Works great. No issues.

I built a low-end PC for fun and it runs hi-def video no problem. Also runs non-taxing games. It runs Portal 2 at ok FPS.

Cons: none that i came in contact with.

Other Thoughts: ok price for an ok card.

this card is better than no card at all :)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little card

Pros: Excellent performance to cost ratio

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I bought this card when building a low-end computer mainly for web. Just as an experiment, I installed Portal 2. It ran it like a champ (no anti-aliasing or a couple other fancy features, but otherwise medium to high everything else).

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Value

Pros: If you need a card for a PCI Express 1.0 slot, this is a solid choice. Installs cleanly, and runs smoothly.

Cons: None yet.

3 out of 5 eggsNot bad- decent value for money

Pros: Better than SOME on-board video
Cheap
Has a fan, and runs rather cool in a ATX mid-tower
Works with Windows 7 (SEE NOTE!)
DVI out

Cons: Supplied drivers CD does NOT work for Windows 64-bit systems. However, downloadable drivers WILL work! I find this annoying, but fine
Worse than SOME onboard video

Other Thoughts: I build computers a la carte for a living. I use these on lower-end (LGA 775) builds just to provide a little extra video performance, and a DVI output. For a cheapie, it's reliable, and decently capable.
Test your system with and without this card- to be honest, some onboard video sets will outperform this card, so it may not be worth it if your MB has a high quality onboard video set

2 out of 5 eggsWorked good for almost 2 months and then died

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Didn't even last 2 months. I'm RMAing it, but still on the hook for the shipping

Other Thoughts: I never did get it to work with dual displays. Options present in the instructions were not present on the computer.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for older systems

Pros: Installed this card in an old HP DC7700 desktop whose onboard video only did 4:3. I had to reflash the BIOS to make it work (not the card's fault), but when I got it working it did/does a beautiful job. I don't know how it'd work for gaming, but for general use it's an inexpensive and solid upgrade.

Cons: Not quite a con, but it's essential that the card be really seated SOLIDLY. It appears that the mating electrical contact surfaces on the connector aren't large. If the card isn't 100% seated it produces weird results, like good video but an inability to access optical drives.

Other Thoughts: Way to go Newegg!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for older systems

Pros: Put this card in an old Dell Dimension 4700, which has a pretty low-capacity power supply. The onboard video didn't support widescreen, so I needed something cheap that did. This card plugged in and booted up with no problems. The driver disk worked perfectly. The card runs cool, even with the fan blocked by the adjacent card. I'm running 1600 X 900 with great video and not a problem in the world. I don't know how well this card would work for gamers, but for general purpose it's a winner.

Cons: None apparent

5 out of 5 eggsgreat for the price

Pros: Installation was a snap with the PCI express. No problem finding drivers and getting updated. I have an older high performance PC so this was a nice upgrade at a low price

Cons: Specs state desired power source 350W but docs with card say 400W. I am currently running with 350W and having no problems.

5 out of 5 eggsWorked fine with my A13G Mobo

Pros: Hassle-free installation. Excellent upgrade from onboard video for very little money. Plus, in contrast to the stated requirements, can work with power supplies as low as 250W.

Cons: None that I can think of!

Other Thoughts: After being scared half to death by my PC Chips AG13 V.1 manual (which pretty much said I could only upgrade the mobo with its very strict list of obsolete video cards or risk frying my computer) I thought it was hopeless to find a card that was compatible with my mobo. But then I saw this card and decided to take a chance after careful research.

And boy, am I glad I got it! Not only did it work perfectly out of the box, it didn't require changing my PSU either, as in contrast to the specs, it can run on PSUs far below the 450W requirements. My custom-built Windows XP machine happens to only be 250W, and after two weeks I can safely say that there have been no problems whatsoever.

For those that are curious, I upgraded my system so I'd be able to run various online social worlds with high specs. The card's working like a charm-- not only are the graphics better, but the games no longer suffer major lag resulting from using onboard video. So all in all, this was a great purchase!
