Pros: Decent price, lots of memory, a relatively newer GPU Nvidia 9500GT

Cons: Card is a DOG, New machine (Intel SC5300AF2NA), dual 3.8GHz Xeon HT processors, 16 GB system memory, Ultra 320 drives, new
Ssamsung 24 inch lcd monitor. Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate (clean install) Latest drivers from Nvidia.

Windows experience shows 6-6.5 on everything except the video performance 2.6!. I have older cards from the same vendor using ATI 1550 chips that score 3.3+ on the video score.

Other Thoughts: I wasn't expecting stellar performance because of the PCI interface but this machine does not offer a PCI-e x16 slot only 4x & 8x so I am forced to use PCI. I have another box (same as above) that uses a 338PCI card from the same manufacturer with only 256MB of ram compared to 1GB on this card and the older card outperforms this one by a mile.

Pros: PCI card - works with older machines, and allows DX10.

Low profile - comes with an optional bracket about half the size of the case slot, for really slim PCs.

Quiet.

Cons: PCI card.

Did not believe that bus speed would matter as much as it does, so I went on a limb and bought it for a PC without a PCI-e slot. Could barely tell any improvement over onboard video (NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE).

This was really disappointing as a re-certified XFX 9800 GTX+ was less expensive than the $90 I dropped for this card.

I am now upgrading the motherboard and going with a cheap PCI-e card. Surprisingly this would have been cheaper, but now I'm stuck paying the 15% restocking fee for newegg.

Other Thoughts: Go with something cheaper and less powerful, as you won't be able to utilize this card to it's full extent because of the limits of the regular PCI interface.

Gave it 5 eggs, as it works as advertised, just not as I'd like.

Pros: Excellent for a PCI card. Brings some life back to computers with older motherboards. A lot quieter than the VisionTek X1300 PCI it replaced. That one had a very loud fan when in 3D mode, even on Google Earth.

Cons: One little nagging problem: I use my PC to play movies on my projector TV. I turn on the TV, and then when I try to switch to independent desktops, it doesn't have that option. Only single or clone. I must reboot the computer with the TV turned on in order to have the independent dual display option.

Other Thoughts: One other little thing that I don't consider negative enough to add to the cons: I wish it came with a DVI->HDMI adapter.
