Good Video Card
- Pros: 1. EZ Install
2. Fans are not loud
3. Performance rating is 5.8 on Windows 7 (if that means anything)
4. Good bang for the buck
- Cons: None so far.
- Other Thoughts: Installed on dual boot system with XP and Windows 7. No problems on either system, but I am not a gamer, so I don't push a video card to the limit.
- Pros: waaay better than the previous 3650 and 3450 ive owned.
- Cons: its not a 4870.
The only one with DDR3
- Pros: Awesome card, simple layout. Three hundred pixel pipelines. Compare that to 32 for the 9800 GTX card I replaced. Yeah, ten times the pipelines doesn't hurt!
- Cons: Like all newer cards, this one gets warm. Use the CCC to address the issue. If you're a gamer, reduce your FPS to a NORMAL range. I can get 300+ FPS in DoD:S, but I set it for 120, and the card stays under 50 degrees Centigrade during play.
- Other Thoughts: I replaced another great card, nVidia 9800 GTX Xlr8 Edition. I wanted to try out an ATI card and I'm very pleased with my choice. This card is AWESOME and it doesn't require even half the power the 9800 GTX did. Oh, and the price was half that of the 9800 GTX in comparison.
