2 out of 5 eggsover priced

Pros: This card was amazing when it came out a year and a half ago.. Now you would be better of putting your money to dx10. (8800)

Cons: Way to over priced. if anything go with the 7950GT

Other Thoughts: Now you would be better of putting your money to dx10. (8800) its the same price basiclly and your getting way more bang for your buck

5 out of 5 eggsStill a decent card, but...

Pros: I bought this card to upgrade from my 6800 ultra. Not a very big improvement from it. Only about 25% on average, but it doesn't take up two pci slots either.

Cons: The 8800s are way better for the price.

Other Thoughts: I bought this online for $xx. It's hella awesome since I couldn't afford an 8800 or anything more than $xxx for that matter.

1 out of 5 eggsWho ever buys this card knows nothing about computers

Pros: Fast when it first came out two years ago

Cons: The 8800s blow this card away and the 8800GTS its the same price and is way faster.

Other Thoughts: WAY OVER PRICE

5 out of 5 eggsKicks lots-o-...

Pros: This thing ran every game I had without SLi on the highest setting. Oblivion never looked so good.

Cons: Had to RMA twice. It blew a capacitor once then the new one came back artifacting. All was worked out in a week or two.

Other Thoughts: I love it. I wont replace it until DX10 comes out. Even then ill be iffy

2 out of 5 eggsAwesome card but...

Pros: Amazing video card I have not had any problems with it although I upgraded my heatsink and fan to an Art1c C00ler

Cons: Runs hot and well heat perpetuates heat so....jeez it is still the same price as when I got it in Dec. 05

Other Thoughts: WAY WAY Over priced go with an 8800gts if you are looking to spend this much money....

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Card

Pros: Amazing frame rates in most games, above average fps in higher-end games. VIVO works flawlessly, LIFETIME WARRANTY!!!

Cons: Runs a little toasty, though it appears BFG has improved their fan/heatsink assembly. S-video out can be a little difficult to connect to.

Other Thoughts: BFG is the only nVidia card I will buy simply for the warranty, just like Newegg will be the only company I buy from, simply for the service.

Pros: NO Pros, This card is worthless! Runs cod2 worse then my 6800. I See nothing but blurry lines and unsteady frame rates with this piece. Runs hot like its actually doing something too. Just buy the 8800 and forget about this card!

Cons: Way over priced!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card(for it's day)

Pros: This card still rocks IMO. Can run anything today Maxed for the most part accept Oblivion wich is in fact is oblivion. 2 of these in SLi can still offer you atleast another half a year of good framerates and higher graphic settings. witha a64 4000+ at 2.88Ghz and a single card i hit 97555 on Aquamark 3(really old lol)

Cons: For this price this card sadly is not worth it when u can pick up a 8800GTS for cheaper and get MUCH better performance.

Other Thoughts: If you are holding off on DX10 for a while and want one of these id suggest getting a used one Eb** :P

2 out of 5 eggsWow.....

Pros: Once a great video card.....

Cons: ....once. This is still a great card but not at this price!! Not when you have the 8800GTS 320MB for a lot less buck and a LOT more bang! Check the reviews on places like Tom's Hardware and sites like that, you will see that this is no longer top dog around here. Take, for instance, the 7950GX2 (dual 500MHz GPUs, 1GB video memory total, 48 pixel pipelines, etc..). Pretty powerful card, right, at least compared to this? Well take this quote from Tom's Hardware:"The 8800 GTS is slightly crippled compared to the GTX, but it will still beat powerhouse cards like the dual-GPU 7950 GX2 in many cases."
That kind of performance is not available in a card like this 7800GTX. Think again before you buy.

Other Thoughts: I know I'm not supposed to reference any other sites, but...although I almost always come here for all my comp needs, I have made one purchase from T!ger D!rect, and all I can say is...NEWEGG RULZ!!
