5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: The last of the great AGP cards. If you still have an AGP system and need a card this would be a good one to find.

Cons: Never Ran into any.

4 out of 5 eggsgood board

Pros: my kid is happy, his frame rates are way up! I'm happy I was able to get a good AGP board and not have to build a new computer!

Cons: 1st board was DOA but NewEgg RMA'ed it and sent me a new one that worked. Turn around time was good.

Other Thoughts: his old Nvidia 5700LE is in my system and doing the job. It is an upgrade for my 'non-gamer" system and need to worry about my kid loaning my system to someone for a LAN party

5 out of 5 eggsGood AGP card for the money

Pros: Card runs games good, much better than my 6800GS OC. No complaints with software or card.

Cons: Wish I would have waited a few weeks for the extra $ 20 rebate.

Other Thoughts: Great customer service and shipping from Newegg as usual.

4 out of 5 eggsFantastic but not 100% what I expected

Pros: I bought this card cuz I was getting blue screen errors with my 6 year old GeForce4 MX440 and I figured I might as well get the "best" card out there if I'm gonna spend money. So I did and ended up with this nice looking card that allows me to see reflections in the water while I play Half-Life 2. It also makes cover flow in iTunes extremely fast. No more blue screens and a Lifetime Warranty, pretty good huh?

Cons: I really thought that when I got this card my video files would look better, but they haven't exactly done that. I would say that they do play smoother but for some reason the color black doesn't show as well anymore in my videos, blacks have become gray. My friend tells me its cuz I had poor quality videos running on a poor quality card so now that i've upgraded to a better quality card the bad video quality shows. I guess.....

Also, don't update to that new Forceware 162, stick with the 97 trust me.

Other Thoughts: I'd just like to say that I ordered this card with a few other things Tuesday afternoon and received it Wednesday morning, that might not sound like anything but considering that I didn't pay $3.00 for a rush process and that I paid the cheaper 3 day ground service, to receive a product in less than 24 hours is just simply amazing. Stop spoiling me like this Newegg.

For those who care, Windows XP Fake Edition, Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz, 775Dual-VSTA, 1.5GB Ram, Samsung 940BW

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: 7 series, Best AGP Card still available. This card runs everything I throw at it cranked! AoE3, Quake4, HL2, Bioshock, etc. Very good performance for the price. System: P4 3GHz, 1GB DDR400.

Highly compatible with Linux!

Cons: Fan is a little loud, when in "performance" mode, but on a 2D desktop is it quiet most of the time. No biggie.

Other Thoughts: Buy this card now, while you still can. They won't make good AGP cards like this forever.

5 out of 5 eggsMore BFG joy

Pros: I loved my BFG 6800GSOC so I bought my stepson a BFG 7600GS card for xmas that he loves (& is playing on at this moment!) But that meant he had a better videocard than me. Had to remedy that by buying this one. It handily beat my 6800 in all ways. Still works great (for an AGP based computer) over a year later.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: While it was a big improvement from my 6800, it was only marginally better than the 7600 GS in games at twice the price. I didn't consider a con (but other might) because it did what I wanted it to - improve my graphics to better than a 7600.

2 out of 5 eggsFun while it lasted

Pros: Fast card before it began to artifact.

Cons: Had a few lock ups here and there, but didn't think much of it. Thought it was a driver issue.

I have a PSU fully capable of running this card, however, after about a week the card locked up, blue screened and began to artifact. RMA'd and will ship back for a refund today.

Other Thoughts: Needed to upgrade my X850XT to play Bioshock. Decided to go with NVIDIA; wish I hadn't.

Just ordered an X1950, which I should have to begin with. Never had a problem with ATI products.
