Pros: Ok. I've had this card in my gaming system since late April. I have never had graphical problem of any sort - then again I have a good power supply and excellent airflow for cooling.
As far as adequacy - unless you are running a 24" or 30" monitor or Oblivion, SLI is NOT necessary yet. I have a 20" widescreen LCD and make sure all my games run at 1680x1050. I'm running an AMD 3200+ (754) and 2 GB of ram and have absolutely no need for anything faster. And when the newer games out, then I just double this puppy up in SLI.
I've been playing through coop GRAW. Sailed through FEAR and PREY and I crunch City of Villains. The only thing close to choppy is CoV - go figure. Prolly the two year old, low end processor. Before this I had an ATI 800XT. I liked them both and don't understand the fanboi mentality of either camps. But this card is an insanely good value.
Cons: Just 256 megs of ram. Won't allow for max level detail in GRAW and I'm sure all the games next year are going to be written for 512. GOing SLI won't fix that either as the frame buffer is written for each seperate card in SLI mode. Oh well. For what the card goes for... it's still insanely good.
Other Thoughts: BFG is a fun company. I built a few high end systems for a friend with 7900gtx cards - haven't seen a bad card yet. As some sites have shown, that's more due to the less aggresive overclocks. Unless you're running an Athlon xp or something I don't know why you'd need one of these cards overclocked though. Then again, I only game, listen to music and write. I don't create content so haven't clue how this thing helps in video encoding or whatnot.

another bad Capacitor

This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: I'm sure if I had a working card it would be great, the 7900Gt at this price is well worth buying over a 6800GT or ultra.
Cons: Got my card, looked in the box and didn't see any missing caps, pulled the card out of the box and then a capacitor fell off. I think it is a bad design, most caps are go through the board and are soldered on, these are surface mounted electrolitic caps and it seems they put a little to much stress on a surface mounted solder joint.
Other Thoughts: I wish the caps went through the board, if so I would have just soldered it back on myself and could be using it now. I don't think it's fair to open a box, get a defective product, and then have to pay to ship it back!!

Pros: I have been using computers since I was a little child and I have never seen a reasonably priced card work this well. You can turn the graphics to full on Oblivion without overclocking and receive a good 100 fps.
Cons: Had to find drivers that would work with the card. The ones that came with the card did not work and got the blue screen of death when playing games.
Found good ones @ guru3d.com
Other Thoughts: Great Card, Good Price.
Can't ask for more.

Good deal

Pros: Good speed, good picture, fan isn't too loud on a good system, my card rarely spools up and if it does, can't hear it over the music or game.
Cons: The price of course, but you get what you pay for.
Other Thoughts: No problems with card, intend to go SLI. Running on Asus p5nsli MB, core 2 duo 6400, 2GB Corsair XMS, old SATA HD. No problems, way faster than my old P4 system (bus rate much higher and dual core).

Pros: Ok,Ordered to of these for my first sli system.installed one card,Installed windows downloaded all the drivers for my comp,Reset comp installed 2nd card enabled sli and haven't had a problem yet.It will run any game on the highest settings.i did a 3dmark 03,(haven't installed 06 yet) scored close to 30k with everything on high max settings.honestly when playing hard you will hear the fans kick on,not as loud as that guy makes it sound.but noticeable.
Cons: None that i have found so far.
Other Thoughts: Remember when takeing into account other peoples thought on these cards\motherboards\anything.they would give it a bad review just because they had 1 bad experience.Get it and find out for yourself how you like it :)
