BFG capitalizes on their expertise building great gaming video cards with NVIDIA's award winning GeForce 8 series architecture. This GeForce 8800GTX GPU is fully DirectX 10 ready and has been overclocked to 600MHz to really kick the action up a notch! Today's software and operating systems can run rampant with 768MB of GDDR3 memory! If that's still not enough, add another card in SLI mode for double the performance.

Output uses 2 dual-link DVI-I ports both supporting up to 2560x1600 resolution. If you haven’t made the jump to flat panels, or if they don’t have DVI ports, you’re still okay, since there are two DVI to VGA adapters. An S-Video port transmits HDTV/component video as well as S-Video signals. The DVI ports are HDCP capable so you can watch HD-DVD and Blu-ray discs in full HD mode.

NVIDIA PureVideo HD technology combines high-definition video decode acceleration and post-processing to deliver amazing picture clarity with smooth video, accurate color and precise image scaling. On its own discrete programmable core, it provides the great picture and smooth movies with minimal CPU utilization and power. Are you sure you're ready for this? We dare you to find out!

5 out of 5 eggsMonster of a card

Pros: Great card at the right price for $379 and a mail in rebate of $50. Plays through my games with ease and durability and have all my settings maxed out for true performance. My next card will be the 9800 GX2.....

Cons: This card is huge and I mean super huge. I had to buy a bigger case for better Airflow. It costed me another $250 for the case.

Other Thoughts: Other than what I mentioned above get a full ATX Case preferably Thermaltake or Cosmos for this huge monster to perform well. This will cool the card greatly.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Gread card had no problems so far (knock on wood). Can basically play anygame on full settings with good FPS.

Cons: My 50 dollar rebate hasnt come yet lol.

Other Thoughts: I got 2 of these with 780sli and they tend to heat up. All you need is good airflow and you'll be fine. No need for watercooling or anything.

5 out of 5 eggsBEST BANG FOR YOUR $

Pros: Running just 1 atm will go dual in a few months. Even non slid this card rocks. Not sure I can get lag videowise. Was looking at building a pc for quite a long time, I think I changed everything except the vid card by the time I purchased. This is a card to get if you want something thats going to last :) The graphics are sweet!

Cons: It didnt come with a free 52"lcd sony :P

Other Thoughts: I couldnt find a card near this price range this good.. to get a card better than this you just buy 2 :) Seriously youd need to spend over 1000 to get a card any better.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Awesome card, great price. Zero issues with BFG card or Newegg.

Cons: If you plan on using more than 1 of these, you might want to use a 3rd party driver program to make sure the fans still run at a high % while idle. The cards are supposed to be able to run at 70+ degrees C, but it doesn't hurt to keep them cooler.

Other Thoughts: As always, incredibly fast delivery by Newegg with no issues.

2 out of 5 eggsAmazing Cards

Pros: Bought 2 of these for SLI
Amazing performance.

Cons: BFG Rebate service "never received" my submissions.
Hard to believe both envelopes were lost in the mail.
They Refuse to honor rebates without photocopies of proof of purchase.
Protect yourself and make sure you do this or you may not get the rebate.
Dont expect to get 2 t-shirts for buying 2 cards.
BFG will not honor the request.

One card was an Open Box.
Connector packages were ripped open and the plastic case broken open.
Cant believe New Egg would sell an open box as a Retail item.

Other Thoughts: Maybe 2 9800GTX are better with greater shader performance but 8800GTX has more bandwidth... seems like a draw.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome card, solid buy.

Pros: My rig was previously using an 8600gts that was a replacement from neweggs awesome service for a 7800gt that went out on me last year. Picking up Age of Conan, I needed a card to achieve high framerates without sacrificing video quality. This card was the answer. I was torn between SLI on two lower priced 8800s, but went with this one because of the awesome reviews, and glad I did. With the 50 dollar rebate, I couldn't refuse. Age of Conan I was able to run with 40-60fps on even view distances of 2km, AA set on 8x. Buy it.

Cons: Nothing really...perhaps the size of it. It's a pretty beefy card.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Card, Great Cust. Support

Pros: The card itself is great, but I'll let you read the other reviews to see that. I normally don't leave reviews but BFG had awesome cust. service. I got a card that would bsod and show artifacts, called up bfg cust. support, was on the phone maybe 10-15mins and they set up an rma. That was a saturday, 9 days later I had my new card.

Cons: First card was a dud... but it happens.

Other Thoughts: I will definitely choose bfg for my second one to sli this rig, and for my second sli rig I'm about to build.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Card

Pros: Works very well with all settings maxed out on Windows Vista and games like Unreal Tournament 3. Flawless game play at 60 fps constantly.

Cons: A little on the larger size physically. My Thermaltake Armor+ barely had enough room.

Other Thoughts: Intel Core 2 Quad 2.66GHz, 4 GB DDR3 1333MHz Ram, Geforce 8800 GTX, five 500 GB hdds, all expansion ports known to man, and 1000 watt PSU.

5 out of 5 eggsStill not a card to be taken lightly

Pros: I bought this card back around December of '06 for around 750 bucks off Newegg. Since then, I've thrown every single title I could in an attempt to hold this baby down, and nothing short of Crysis on max settings makes this card sweat. HL2 on max it caps out at around 240FPS using their video test. Even after all that time, this card is still among the best out there, and will be for a while longer.

Cons:'s a fatty, and it also runs a little hot. Make sure you have good ventilation and plenty of fans to move air around. Keeping an eye on your case and cleaning out any dust that could sufficate it is a must. I've owned the card for about a year and a half, and a couple of weeks ago the memory finally gave out. Never overclocked, just one of those things that happens in nature, but thanks to BFG's warranty it's nothing more than a nuissance. 5 minutes of speaking to a rep and I was on my way to getting a replacement. Just waiting on a refurb or a new one to arrive at my doorstep.

Other Thoughts: I plan on buying a second one to run in SLi soon...

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Graphics Card

Pros: I bought 2 of these and SLI them together. Ran Crysis in its full potential and worked great, very shocking. Overall really impressed.

Cons: Did not know you could not Dual Screen in SLI mode.
