4 out of 5 eggsgood for the money

Pros: pretty solid card, runs most games on high settings. Runs Crysis on med settings, but going to try SLI to try to improve performance. All around a good card for your money, and with the $30.00 MIR, even more attractive.

Cons: none, other than it's kind of a big card, make sure you have enough room in your case.

Other Thoughts: Newegg.com ROCKS, shipping is outstanding.

2 out of 5 eggsgood while it lasted

Pros: Was a graphics powerhouse compared to my old X1950Pro 512MB. Played Age of Conan at all max settings, absolutely beautiful!

Cons: Had the card for about 5 months, and its starting to give me trouble. Even playing something like WoW I'm getting frame rate dropoffs, and huge graphical errors. Polygons seem to lose their virticies, and they poke out way into space. Just plain Weird.

Other Thoughts: Had to switch back to my X1950Pro so I could play games without weird glitches. BFG won't honor their "lifetime" warranty because I didn't register it within 30 days! Sorry BFG, I figured your products would last more then 5 months! Next card will be a Radeon for sure.

5 out of 5 eggsWhoa! Better than Ati

Pros: great buy for the price, i got this card in a set for sli, and it works alot better then my buddys 8800 gtx and i still saved some money toward a third card i will be getting soon. for triple-sli..

Cons: not alot of stream processors but still for the money it ain't bad, and had to use riva tuner cuz the fan operates at a slow fan speed.

Other Thoughts: recommend to someone who is looking for something cheap and wants something for a bang for their buck. if so get this card, it ain't bad coming from someone who prior only would use ati.

2 out of 5 eggsRebate Scam

Pros: Good Card

Cons: Bought on May 28th, description says rebate $30. But when I printed out the rebate form, valid only for purchase after June 1st. Sent rebate by mid June, Got email from BFG yesterday. They can't honor my rebate because of the purchased date. Nice going. it's only $30 rebate, I WONDER WHAT KIND A TRICK WITH REBATE MORE THAN $30.

Other Thoughts: Hopefuly My $30 could help BFG get more profit!!!!!!!

2 out of 5 eggsregistration problems

Pros: Card itself seems fine, unfortunately I cannot give it a better rating for the reason listed below

Cons: tried to register with BFG for the lifetime warranty and found that I cannot because the serial number on box and card itself is not recognized by BFG as legitimate. BFG customer service was useless because all they keep telling me is to supply the crrect number.

Other Thoughts: I would return the card if I hadn't sent in the rebate with the UPC . Buyer beware if you want the lifetime warranty, you may have a problem qualifying because of BFG not attaching the proper serial number

4 out of 5 eggsGood mid-range video card

Pros: Performance is much better than I anticipated for a mid-range card. It will run the games I play at maximum settings without much trouble. Stress tests using various demos and whatnot gave acceptable performance, while I expected it to be rather poor. Runs quiet and has a small footprint.

Cons: Nvidia drivers are a joke. As long as you keep your setup simple, it should work fine. You can only pick EITHER dual monitor OR SLI, not both. This is an imposed limitation in the drivers.

Other Thoughts: Upgraded from a 7900 GS OC, which wasn't really a slow card to begin with, at least for my usage. Purchased from a local retailer due to price. I'm rather happy with the card overall in its current configuration.
