1 out of 5 eggsLow Quality!

Pros: -Decent card

Cons: The capacitors! I have NEVER seen a video card like this that has capacitors/coils that vibrate so much and make such a loud, ear piercing noise. It's a very high frequency ring that hurts after awhile.

Other Thoughts: I only bought BFG Tech because the EVGA one was out of stock. Needless to say, I will NEVER buy anything from them again. I RMA'ed the first card and the new one does the same thing, just not as bad. STAY AWAY from this card unless you want a headache. The quality is cheap and it shows! I might just send this back for a refund -- it's that annoying.

5 out of 5 eggsGood card!

Pros: upgraded from a 8600 gt and noticed a big difference! games ran much smoother and i'm getting much more fps.
took a day to get here. i can say i am not disappointed!

Cons: I don't know if it's a bad card or something but it makes this really annoying high squeal sound and i'm still trying to figure out if it's normal or not.

Other Thoughts: make sure you have enough power,Had to upgrade from a 420w psu to a 550 psu, other then that this card does not disappoint.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good price!

Cons: Everytime, I play games like Counterstrike Source, HL2, Bioshock (etc) for 2-5 hours, my LCD goes to stand by. I also get a sound loop (sound being repeated over and over again from whatever game I'm playing) so I'm forced to do a hard reboot everytime this situation happens. My power supply is powerful enough to handle this video card (Antec 550watt 19A on both 12v rails). I also check the temperature of the video card while playing games and it never overheats. The load temperature is always less than 65c. Anyways, I searched up, '9600GT blackscreen of death' and found some information but it dates back to 2008. Hmm, I heard something about the BIOS of the 9600GT. The 9600GTs that have the old BIOS version will give you the black screen of death or whatever. The 9600GTs with the latest BIOS probably are the ones that wont give you the black screen of death. I'm not sure if this is true. Geez, I'm sleepy -_- ZzzZzz

Other Thoughts: Thank you, Newegg for the excellent service. Ordered on Monday and arrived on Tuesday (I live an hour away).

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect card

Pros: This video card is solid and it runs very cool - 44C idle. It eats Crysis and UT3 for breakfast (1280x1024 resolution, medium settings). Also, this card scores 10272 while testing with 3dmark06 (default settings).

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I set the fan to 67% with EVGA Precision 7.1 tool so it runs cooler. Initially, it was set to 35%.

My new system:
ASUS M3A76-CM 760G Micro ATX Motherboard
AMD Athlon 64 X2 7750 Kuma 2.7GHz CPU
1GBx2 PNY DDR2 MD2048KD2-800 Memory

5 out of 5 eggsNice card!

Pros: This card is just great! It was my first card, and it was also the first Graphics Card I was going to install into my computer. Very easy! Just put it into the slot (with some pressure) and screw it in! The card has great graphics. It seems to get hot, but I'm not sure of that. I haven't had a problem with it at all yet. So glad I went with this card. It's probably the best bang-for-your-buck card. It's really cheap, and seems greatly made.

Cons: Nothing really. It's pretty big, but it's performance makes up for that! The size is very understandable.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you have enough room. You shouldn't have a problem. I put this into an HP Pavillion, and it fit fine. It's not so much the thickness, but it's pretty long. But it's a rock-solid card!

5 out of 5 eggsFlawless Quality

Pros: I have played every high end game I have with this on all but the blu ray setting. 1024 x 768 is awesome on Crysis at 2-4 AA. I am running Vista, with 4 gigs of Gskill ram and 550 BFG psu. People swear by the 8800gt but honeslty, I can never tell the difference in FPS, or visually. It's quiet, fast, and HARD WORKING. I have had this card for 6 months. Flawless action..Flawless.

Cons: ITS HUGE....make sure you have FULL tower like the ANTEC, or similar. I have an ANTEC 900, so it fit nicely, but I had to buy the ANTEC to accommodate it LOL.

Other Thoughts: for 74 dollars , I wouldnt spend any money on anything more expensive for the same power. SLI is sick with card. I will upgrade with this card when it cant play any of the newer games, which wont be anytime soon. This card can handle anything out there with very fast FPS, and super quality.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: Runs well, Can max most games, good FPS. I get 250+ FPS while playing Call of Duty 4 on high settings with 1024x768 resolution, and get 230+ FPS while playing F.E.A.R. 2 on high settings with 800x600 resolution. Its a very great card, and it's cheap.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: The card is huge. It's 10 inches in length. I didn't have a problem fitting it in my case, but some people may. So just a heads up...

5 out of 5 eggsUpdate from my last review

Pros: Have had this since Nov"08 and has ran solid ever since. Cool, quiet and fast. Idles around 60 and never got higher than 75. Played Crysis, and bioshock without a hitch. Vista and 7 wei scores are both a 5.9 for both categories.

Cons: None, Besides i paid alot more for it when i got back in nov. Also would not play games with a 380W psu. Got a 500w PSU and has ran perfect ever since. Both i purchased from newegg are Antec earthwatts and there great to.

Other Thoughts: Well besides this and the other bfg card for 89, The radeon 4830 is 89$ and the 4850 is 109$, The 9800GT isn't even in the price range anymore since the 9800GTX is only 10 dollars more.So them are your best bets in this price range.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat card

Pros: i was looking for a card to upgrade to and I read about this card being great for the price. seeing as i have very little cash flow and had to pull out of my savings, i think this card is amazing for the price. i stopped playing crysis because i could never find a custom setting with my previous card that looked good. i decided to try crysis on all medium 1280x1024 with 2AA and it looks so beautiful!
this card runs very quietly

Cons: had to upgrade my PSU because i only had a 305 watt plus i needed a PCIe power cord, but it was NOT the cards fault.

also, this is a monster of a card and just barely fit into my standard dell case that i got several years ago.

Other Thoughts: overall, very nice card.

5 out of 5 eggs9600GT Great all around card

Pros: well, to give you perspective, i managed 1280x1024 Very high DX10 with this card about 25 -20 fps, not bad, all othergames ive managed to run max out with out a hitch with this card, also Great for HD 1080p blu ray movies it will play them noprob, ive never had a issue with this card the time ive had it, also ive managed Call of duty World at war 1680x1050 all maxed out AA and all that good stuff, with about 50-60 fps,

Cons: personally, none

Other Thoughts: i had bought this card at a store here in town, but def a card worth thinking about, if you have a lower end pc, want some good gfx, this is the card, will work with a 450w psu or less, a good all around card
