5 out of 5 eggsFine

Pros: Passive cooling, stable, lifetime warranty and good driver support from nVidia.

Cons: Not for gaming

Other Thoughts: For an office machine or something running 2D apps, this video card is just fine.

1 out of 5 eggsNot that great

Pros: - Cheap

Cons: - Does not work with windows 7 64bit probably due to the built in drivers. This may be resolved once Windows 7 SP1 comes out. Windows 7 gets stuck at "Writing registry entries" during install. Swapping to a different video card works fine.

5 out of 5 eggsworks perfect

Pros: Works flawlessly with Win 7 64 bit. follow install instructions and you'll have no issues. Only hang up was once the computer turned on after install, it stayed black. I just forced a power down and restarted. worked just fine and installed most recent nvidia drivers.

Cons: none so far

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Quiet. Cool.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I bought two identical fanless 8400GS video cards from newegg. This one by BGF Tech and another one by MSI. The MSI one runs really hot, while this one from BGF Tech was much cooler.

1 out of 5 eggsAVOID "BFG" - Dead Card & HORRIBLE SERVICE

Pros: Decently affordable

Cons: Card died in less than a year. Fan seized up and quit spinning, causing the card to overheat and the system to randomly crash. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. (see below)

Other Thoughts: I called BFG Customer service for warranty repair, and they hung up on me TWICE after waiting over 30 minutes on hold each time. I was very polite, but they were extremely short and rude when asking for my information. I was told I had to "take the card out and then register it online" before they could help me with replacement. I told them this was the only computer I had and the video card was broken, so there was no video display, and no way to get online to register! Tech support said they would do nothing until I registered online, THEN HUNG UP ON ME without even saying goodbye. TWICE. I will never do business with a company that treats their paying customers the way that BFG has treated me. Take my advice: go somewhere else. AVOID BFG!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as expected

Pros: Cheap and works great with a multi-monitor setup.

Cons: That I didn't buy one sooner. 8400 GS cards are decent, reliable and work in Windows 7 easily as long as you download the latest nVidia driver set.

Other Thoughts: The image seen here isn't the card you get. The card you get looks identical but only has a heatsink with no fan by design, and that's GREAT because it's one less thing to break. That's a bonus as far as I'm concerned.

5 out of 5 eggsDecent card for the price.

Pros: Decent card , easy to install.

Cons: The win7 driver and the driver shipped have a flaw that seems to have been fixxed in the latest driver online. Get the latest driver.

Other Thoughts: I got this for my mom's dell. The driver issue was the only problem. After installing the card windows 7 picked it up and installed it. No harm but it diddnt quite work. Its forced the screen 19xx and when I put it back to 12xx the monitor stayed at 19xx and the video was a small landscape inside the monitor. The monitor locked in at 19xx and nothing I did could fix it.... except download the latest driver. Then I had to reset the monitor.

5 out of 5 eggsGeforce 8400

Pros: Very quiet. Easy to install and works great for the low price!

Cons: Don't have any.

Other Thoughts: When I first attempted to install it it for some reason messed with a video program on Vista and the computer couldn't differentiate between my integrated card and the new one. I had never had that problem before with my other computers. So go by the instructions exactly.
