4 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: This card is a big step up from my evga 9600gt. I'm impressed with the frames in Fallout 3, Far Cry 2, and other games, but they are not perfect, of course. I am not sure if this is due to a bottleneck with my cpu, since it is only a dual core 2.2

But in any case, the card performs extremely well, and seems to run cool.

Cons: I guess it's my overly high expectations, but i had hoped to see better performance in GTA 4, but i have heard that this is due to me not having a quad core processor

Other Thoughts: Good Value. Kind of big, but i've got it in my little mini Dell case, so i would imagine it would fit in most cases.

i'm goin for the 9650 at the next price drop. should be a good combo.

I also wish that i could get some good idea just what the extra memory does performance wise, for the card. some people say it doesn't do much.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I am a recent convert from amd to intel and from ati to intel. WOW this card ROCKS. I will NEVER go back to the dark ages. Install was slick and quick, driver download painless, nothing left but to enjoy. This thing can take anything you throw at it and beg for more.
NEWEGG is one stop shopping for me.

5 out of 5 eggsSweet Card!

Pros: Really great card! Replaced a 3 year old ATI card, and wow, what a difference! Card runs very cool at 40-45 degrees. What a great price!

Cons: The card is big. Much bigger than the pictures look, so be sure you have enough room in your case. I can't believe anyone could fit three of these in their case...

Other Thoughts: AMD Quad Core 3.0GHz
Antec P180 Gunmetal Case
Antec Power Neo 500 Watt PS
ASUS M4a79-Deluxe
8 gigs of OCZ Reaper PC-8500 RAM @ 1066
Vista Home Premium 64 -Bit

5 out of 5 eggs9800GTX

Pros: Built a new computer and replaced the fastest AGP card a 3850 ATI in a 6000 dual core AMD setup. This 9800
GTX+ will run a video bench mark program at 45-55 frames per second that my 3850 ATI could only run at 10-15 frames per second. MUCH,MUCH,MUCH faster card. Does not run hot. Have to seen any problems.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: This was installed in a Quad core AMD 940 setup. Would definitely buy again.

5 out of 5 eggsAMAZING!!!

Pros: Running 1900x1200 - 32bit color - EVE Online with all options on. Doesn't eve flintch.

Cons: The good water blocks that I find for this card that accomodate the GPU, Mem, and power regulator caps are as much as the card.

Other Thoughts: If your going to get the second, or heaven-forbid a third, for SLI set up. Consider the water cool investment. Limited Airspace and Noise become factors otherwise.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent buy!

Pros: Easy Install. Standard size card for this type VPU (they are all large power hogs). Its dual din. Fairly quiet for the fan being at 100% (software driven). Excellent price! Single SLI connection.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: I own a 8800GTX and this 9800GTX+ and this was a 13% increase in performance in 1680X1050 while playing WoW (all settings on Max). I bought this card for wifes budget rig. I paid $60 less for this card--5 months. I would certianly buy this again. I suspect this card versus a HD250 would only be a marginal increase in performance.

5 out of 5 eggsI Am Now SLI

Pros: Top of the line 9 series card.
Exhaust heat out of case, Idles at 43c.
3 way SLI
Doing SLI can run all my games on high settings with no problems.

Cons: None, Very great card for the price.

Other Thoughts: Newegg has the cheapest price on this card.
I bought my first 9800 GTX+1GB at Best Buy for $249.00
The same exact one I just got on here only cost me $150.00.
I will be buying my electronics from Newegg from now on.
Thanks Newegg.

5 out of 5 eggsTop Shelf

Pros: Exellent card for the money. Runs all my games on the highest settings without a hiccup. Fan is quiet, and it runs at a managable temp with stock cooling. I just swapped out 2 X1300's in Crossfire for this single card and the improvement is outstanding.

Cons: Box doesn't include an SLI bridge. Even though it isn't really a problem with the card itself, I don't really like the NVIDIA user interface when compared to Catalyst Control Center.

Other Thoughts: Its a very large card. I had to relocate my HDD to another drive bay to get it to fit. Depending on your MOBO, if you don't use all your RAM slots, make sure the RAM clips are in the closed position anyway. On my ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe, if all your lower RAM clips aren't closed, the video card won't seat properly because the clips hold the card up just a little bit. You won't even notice it from looking at it, but its enough to keep the card from being detected in POST. Also, make sure your PSU is at least 475W anf the sum of your 12v power rails is at least 25A.
