4 out of 5 eggsGood Product

Pros: Very dependable card had it over a year. I have played a multitude of games and it can handle most of them on high/ultra settings. Great buy!

Cons: Very big covers up 2 of my SATA ports.

5 out of 5 eggsThe BomB!!

Pros: Plays any game xept Crysis/Stalker on high. 60-70FPS (v-sync off) in Dirt2 with x16CSAA (1680x 1050), High settings (not-Ultra). With v-sync enabled I get 60FPS capped and the lowest I have seen is 54FPS.

lifetime warranty =) and the fact that I got this card by simply trading in my old GTS 250.

Cons: None, as long as you download EVGA Precision and you make sure that the fan speed is set to 50/55% at startup.

Other Thoughts: Crosshair III Formula
x4 B50 @ 3.8Ghz 1.45v
4Gb Mushkin @ 1600Mhz
This card
TP 850w
Win 7 Pro 64

One more month and the BFG GTX 470 "Fermi" will be here, hopefully..

3 out of 5 eggsSize Issues

Pros: Can't say. Couldn't install.

Cons: Very large!

Other Thoughts: Be careful. Very large. 10.5 inches wide. Never dreamed it would not fit in my full size Antec case. Had to return for refund less restocking and shipping fees. Equal Radeon cards are smaller. Physical dimensions are very difficult to obtain from manufacturer's web sites. If they are going to make such huge cards they need to post the dimensions.

Excellent RMA procedure from NewEgg though! Promptly refunded.

1 out of 5 eggsBlah

Pros: Runs great. Will run anything you throw at it.

Cons: Lasted 6 days. Then poof. Had to put the 8800 back in and I guess I'll find out how well Nvidia fixes it stuff :(

Other Thoughts: Should have not updated

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very fast! I can play any game I throw at it with everything set to the max..... even Crysis. And I'm not even running this in SLI. It is also very quiet. I can only hear it when I first boot up my system but after that it's extremely silent. It took my system from a vista rating of 4.2 to a 5.9!

Cons: It's HUGE! I had just enough space in my case for it. It also requires 2 6-pin power cables. Frustrating registry for warranty.

Other Thoughts: Even though it need to 6-pin power cables, it is on the side of the card rather than the front so it won't get in the way of your hard drive bays. I was rather surprised that it fits in my Mid tower case. Although be sure to register it within 30 of purchase or else you won't get the lifetime warranty.

Intel Quad-Core 2.33Ghz, 640 GB SATA Hard drive, 4GB Patriot Ram PC2 8500, 630 Watt Rosewill power supply, ASUS P5Q-EM DO Mico ATX.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Fast. Beautiful. Quiet.

Cons: Huge.

Other Thoughts: Requires 2 6-pin PCIe power connectors. I don't think this is a con, just something to be aware of. I'm running two of these cards in SLI and they work very, very well. I couldn't be happier with my decision to purchase these.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Easy setup. Power cables go on the side instead of the back which makes an easier fit in my case (doesn't hit drive bays.) A fairly quiet card. Quieter than my old EVGA 9800 GT. Stays cool. Unless something reverse engineered from alien spacecraft comes out in the next year or so I feel like this card will last me a while.

Cons: Can't think of any yet.

Other Thoughts: Nvidia programs other than the drivers are a bit of a pain but they're not important to running the card. I put this into a very old system (athlon 64 x2 4400+, 2 gigs ddr 400) and contrary to conventional wisdom, there wasn't a bottleneck. More CPU-intensive games like Dawn of War II didn't really improve but the difference in Crysis is phenomenal (settings on high/very high 1440 x 900 runs smoothly.)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Runs everything I throw at it. Lifetime warranty a plus.

Cons: Couldn't think of anything.

Other Thoughts: Can wait to get another one to run SLI.
