hmmmm.
- Pros: Excellent card.
- Cons: It is NOT compatible with the earlier model, BFGEGTX2951792H2OCWE. The watercooling ports do NOT match up laterally, so unless there's a LOT of room between two PCIEx16 slots, you cannot mix the models of cards, which otherwise seem to spec out equivalently.
- Other Thoughts: The original seems to be out of production. RMAing.
Nice Card
- Pros: Runs cool even at the fairly aggressive factory overclocked speed. I read somewhere that BFG hand selects the best chips from a given lot for the H2OC line. Every game I've tried at 1920x1200 with everything turned up to max runs at frame rates that rival real life.
- Cons: Price. I think I could have bought a PS3 and a Wii with all the rock band instruments for the price of this one component.
- Other Thoughts: I only got this card because I killed my BFG 280 with a coolant leak. That one worked really well too; I was able to clock it quite a bit higher than the factory settings (haven't tried this with the 295 yet.)
Friggin' quick..Must Buy
- Pros: Bought two of these cards, b/c I needed a single height PCI slot card, put them in DUAL SLI config with an Intel Extreme processor, 6 gig ram, new board. Install was simple and straight forward and well thought out. I like the way the h20 connectors are set out from the board, makes the installation smoother. Runs PDQ, pretty cool too, never got above 50C with radiator. Pretty impressive engineering BFG. , many kudos to your team.
- Cons: Well, price, it is a bit expensive but no more so than buying the card and the cooler and doing the mounting yourself. Can't think of a way that you could do this better yourself.
- Other Thoughts: Had a small problem on one of the cards where the GPU ran at 5C and never got up to working temp. RMA'ing the board back to NewEgg and fully expect that they'll provide the awesome customer service I have come to expect this far. Can't wait to get back up and running :-)
