- Pros: Works fine for 1280x1024
- Cons: No good for watching HD video or games
- Other Thoughts: Bought this card to support my monitor array. 3 LCDs connected, two to a high performance card and one to this one. This card does fine with holding IM windows, task manager, graphing tools etc but couldn't hold the load when playing a DVD while using a programming IDE on the other two.
Good Video Card
- Pros: Standard PCI connection for older PC's, relatively low power consumption, DVI and VGA connections, easy install and working fine
- Cons: Some slight artifacts were visible on DVD video playback, can't tell if it is the card or some other part of the system
- Other Thoughts: Needed DVI to go to a plasma tv with a DVI-M to HDMI-M cable, and it does the trick. The nVidia utility permits good control over the image.
Works great for more monitors
- Pros: - Cheap
- Compatible with my GeForce 8800 GT
- Great for adding extra monitors
- Cons: - The driver XP auto-installed for it caused my system to crash during boot. Had to safe-mode and install drives which came with it.
- Other Thoughts: I bought this card so I could add more monitors onto my system (up to 3 now), and for that so far it is working great.
