5 out of 5 eggsDurable little entry level card

Pros: Used very little electricity
Played modern games of its time at great fps
Brought life back into classics with nvidia control panel and forcing of AA and opengl

Cons: Fan died in it about 3 years later.

Other Thoughts: Fan died in it about 3 years after purchase, but cooling in the case was so good, it didn't even effect the card.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for the great review, we appreciate the positive feedback.

4 out of 5 eggsGood video card

Pros: It's a nice video card and runs pretty smooth on Counter Strike : source

Cons: The fan a quite loud so i wouldn't recommend this video card if you dont prefer loud fans.

Other Thoughts: I was thinking about getting the EVGA 7600 but my friend said this one was better (maybe it was but i really dont think the fan on the EVGA could have been loud)

5 out of 5 eggsGood budget card

Pros: This card works very well for a budget build, i dont do a ton of gaming but it will run Battlefield 2 at full settings with 2x antialiasing it also renders well paired with a Q6600 as i use photoshop frequently. Also plays dvds flawlessly

Cons: None as of now, doesnt run crysis demo well but thats expected with a card of this level

Other Thoughts: I would reccomend it, love the XFX logo on the support bar it shows perfectly in my clear sided case.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes the Trick

Pros: Dual Digital output is a plus. Great gaming detail and smooth game play. UT3 with all graphics maxed out is still smooth as silk.

Cons: The TV out on my card is not working. XFX customer support has not answered any of my service tickets, yet. Can not contact manufacturer in any other way for technical assistance.

Other Thoughts: I will have to RMA this to Newegg if XFX refuses to answer my technical questions and resolve this issue. I bought this card MAINLY for the TV out feature and price.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great, easy to install

Pros: Installation was a snap, installed and worked correctly right off the bat in my HP Pavilion A1150Y desktop. Upgraded from the installed HP 256 mb shared memory Geforce 6200 card. Now play BF2 at max settings, which requires a good graphics card, with no problems. Does not require higher powered power supply from the factory installed power supply.

Cons: Card is a bit wide with included fan; takes up a spare PCI slot in addition to the PCI Express slot it installs in. May be a problem for someone maxed out with their PCI slots. Gets a bit warm.

Other Thoughts: Great price for 256mb GDDR3 graphics card that works from the word go. Happy with the purchase, takes BF2 to another level.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Card

Pros: First off, this is probably the best card you can get for the money, especially with Newegg's $20 mail in rebate. This is my very first graphics card, and I'm thrilled to finally be able to step up from Integrated, and boy is this card a step up. Battlefield 2, Half-Life 2, Need For Speed: Most Wanted, Guitar Hero 3, all play flawlessly. No lag, no slowdowns, nothing. I've gamed probably 12 hours in the past two days, and this thing cuts through it all without complaint. Runs cool, looks cool.
I'd recommend this card to anyone. ;)

Cons: Somewhat of a pain in install, the drivers that came on the CD weren't correct, and I ended up having to call tech support 3 times to get the right drivers. Up and running in 2 hours though, no biggie.

Other Thoughts: Great card for the money, I've already recommended it to at least 2 of my friends, probably more.
The ability to go SLI is just the icing on the cake.

Also, just a juicy tidbit.. if you run Half-Life 2 with the latest release of the SMOD: Tactical mod, the game looks like you're in a movie. Cinematic effects, DOF, HDR.. you'd think you were playing on a card 3 times as expensive.

Specs: 2GB DDR2, 320GB 7200RPM HDD, AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+, 300W PS.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Graphics Card

Pros: Easy installation and definitely good quality. Make sure your system supports the express slot, but very good graphics and setup ease.

Cons: NOT Vista compatible but still a very good graphics card.

5 out of 5 eggsReview is NOT FOR THIS CARD!!!

Pros: This review is for the 7950GT 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI-E 16x card, which has been discontinued. First, this card is incredible. Pumps out 30 fps constant of MOH Airborne, and around 45 on Madden 08. lol No oc'ing necessary, at least for me. I have owned it since April last year, (this is 2008 now) and no issues whatsomever with it. Great solid card, and probably half as much now as I paid for it then.

Cons: The onboard heatsink is barely sufficient; the only reason it stays under 55C is because my case has plenty of fans, and I have good airflow. It runs 52-55C idle to mild use, but after an hour or so of games or movies, 58-61C. If your gonna OC, your obviously gonna need a fan. Anybody that would OC should already know this, tho.....

Other Thoughts: Absolutely. Dont drink diet coke, because its sweetened with aspartame, which causes short term memory loss. As a computer geek and gamer, thats not acceptable. Also, dont drink diet Coke, because it sweetened with aspartame which causes....

oops, what was I saying???
