3 out of 5 eggsIt FRIED!

Pros: Very fantastic 384-bit card. The first and only video card I paid over $500.00 for.

Cons: I have no clue if it is still in warranty or not, because I lost the box it came in and am kind of upset I spent that much money on it.

Other Thoughts: ... I will only purchase a card in the $200.00 range now after my little incident with it. It just fried itself one day while playing a game.

5 out of 5 eggsGot 2, couldn't ask for more (then a 3rd)

With 2 of these, nothing has limited me to anything less then max quality setting (including Crysis)

Cons: HEAT! These beasts will turn your case into an inferno without proper circulation.
New nVidia control interface: maybe I'm alone on this one, but I miss the old driver interface!

Other Thoughts: Thermaltake Armour case is keeping the air flow going. Its working great with vista, and switched over to SLI without a hitch. Posting 14,000's in 3dMark06.

3 out of 5 eggsBiggest dissapointment in my new rig

Pros: The card does as it is supposed to. Runs games at decent settings.

Cons: The card BARELY outperforms my friends 8800 GT OC which is 200$ cheaper. And some games actually look better on his. Bioshock is literally garbage with this card, with visible screen tear and low frame rates.

It IS a decent card, but save yourself the money and get a GTS.

5 out of 5 eggsVery AWESOME!!!

Pros: Runs everygame on Max Settings and still gets a very decent framerate! I absolutely love this card! I bought this along with my new 5200+ Processor and 2 Gigs of RAM. Runs FANTASTIC! You will not be disappointed! Suprised I fit it in my Mid-sized PC Case.

Cons: Very big. Fan can get a little annoying. Makes some heat, but does not get too hot. Takes a lot of juice to run! Make sure you have a 650 Watt Power Supply with two 6-pin connectors!

Other Thoughts: My rig: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 5200+ Processor, Gigabyte motherboard, 2GB of Dual-channel RAM, and THIS AWESOME GRAPHICS CARD!!! Gotta upgrade to a full-size Tower soon.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It has a great hardware design which just lets your games play through anything you throw at it. If you can afford it, definitely go for this card.

Cons: The card takes up two slots on the motherboard. Make sure that you will not cover up any other card slots you will want to use. The card is just massive and will eat up space in the case. The other problem I ran into was that it requires two 6-pin power connectors, make sure your power supply has enough connectors to power the card. I ended up getting a couple of double 4-pin to 6-pin connectors which just ate up tons of space.

Other Thoughts: In my case the power cords bumped up against a fan I had on the side panel. I was able to bend them out of the way, but it was just sort of a pain. I love that I am able to go triple SLI with this card.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks good

Pros: Runs fairly cool compared to my OC card (55C idle, 65C-ish under game load). Easy install.

Cons: Just a bit pricey still but a better buy than the Ultra IMO.

Other Thoughts: Lower the price nVIDIA/NewEgg.
