Go stealthy with this passively cooled GeForce 7200GS based card from XFX. Since it uses a large heat sink it doesn't need a fan which both draws power and creates noise, neither of which is desirable. The card has 256MB of on board memory and can borrow up to 256MB from your system for increased video performance.

The card has a low-profile PCB so it will fit into slim cases, optional bracket required. This plus the silent cooling makes it a great choice for HTPC's or other applications where silent running is a bonus.

3 out of 5 eggsInfo.

Pros: Very good Card if your looking for something cheap and are wanting to play low end games.
I did keep in mind that it was only 256 mb and low profile yes
but the quality ah this going to cons

Cons: the quality is terrible i mean i can even run a low end game like starcraft and still have graphical lagg
Dont buy this card if your just going to play games all the time
used for like Word or your basic other applications but not really games

Other Thoughts: Good Card in all for Applications not Games but needs a little more power.

5 out of 5 eggsno subject

Pros: Fits in slimline s3020n pretty well, with a little push on the side of course. I was actually hoping to only add another monitor so this card does that job very well, and it seems like the overall system runs slightly faster, give or take 5%.

Cons: none

4 out of 5 eggsGeforce 7200gs

Pros: DVI, VGA, and S-video on one small card. 720p runs great. Have not tried 1080p yet.

Cons: Does not fit well into my Dell 530s. I had to remove the metal brace that runs on top of the machine to be able to place the lid back on the case. When the card is inserted into the PCI-E slot it is a little too tall for the retaining clip to snap down over all the cards.

Other Thoughts: A DVI-VGA adapter would be nice. I have to use the two-slot adapter to be able to use the DSUB with my 530s slimline case.

5 out of 5 eggsgood budget card

Pros: Worked perfectly and still does. This card was an upgrade in my grandparents EMachine over the onboard video. My grandmother got addicted to the internet and games in the couple years of her life. This got here through tons of hours of Tiger Woods golf and is now residing in a computer my nephew has. He puts it into heavy use gaming as well, although the games he plays are not that taxing on the card.

Cons: would have like to have been able to put some kind on fan on the heatsink but couldn't find a easy way to do it.

Other Thoughts: if you need a cheap card that will get you through playing videos and some light gaming that is quite then this is a good cheap route you can take.

I think temps were average around 55 degrees C in a poorly vented case under idle loads

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: Works perfectly with the new Dell Inspirion 531 Slim line. I never installed a graphics card before, and this was a snap. The low bracket set that is shipping with it made fitting into the computer so easy. The wife loves her dual screen set up.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: You might need to get a VGA to DVI adapter if you are going for the dual screens. You will also need a 5 mm socket for the low profile brackets.

2 out of 5 eggsCould not use it in my case

Pros: Video quality was good. Performance seemed good.

Cons: This card has no built on fan, and it ran so hot, 175 degrees f at idle, that my fans ran constantly. I had to remove it.

Other Thoughts: If you have a large case with lots of airflow, this may be fine. But in my little Dell Optiplex 280, this card ran way too hot.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Fits my HP slimline computer as long as you buy the low profile bracket. Gave my wife the dual display that she wanted.

Cons: Windows experience index went from 3.0 down to 2.7. Seems strange that the performance would be worse than the onboard video.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I have it connected to my HDTV and use it heavily for watching 720p videos, and it works great.

Cons: It doesn't do high end video games or 1080p very well.

Other Thoughts: Great starter card...really hoping it's not the best I can do on low profile though.
