Pros: Worked good... when it worked.

Cons: After about two years of light use, several capacitors literally exploded. Contacted the company (lifetime warranty, right? wrong!) and was told that they could not warranty it because they could not find the paperwork. Never mind that I still get their newsletter. Research showed that it's a relatively common problem.

2 out of 5 eggsS-Video output is sub-standard

Pros: Quiet

Cons: Brought this to replace an ATI 9700 Pro on my SageTv DVR box. While the picture is clear, it has a noticeable border on the right side of the screen and the picture isn’t rectangular. The border is very prominent as XP boots up which indicates it isn't a driver issue.

Other Thoughts: I guess I better RMA it and then miss days of recording while this gets sorted out.

Manufacturer Response:

Most of the time any border issues are formatting issues with what the card is being connected to. There are driver options in the NV Control Panel for resizing and moving the picture around that may be able to resolve this for you. Please contact our support team at xfxforce.com or me personally at neweggsupport@xfxforce.com and we can help you diagnose the problem. Thank you.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: Great! Fan is quiet, keeps it cool. Good FPS on Dust2 in CS:Source on HIGH Settings. Runs TF2 well on HIGH Settings too!! NO LAG! System Specs* 2GB OCZ DDR2. 350W PSU. AMD Athlon X2 64 2.6gHz. Windows Vista. Got it installed it played games!

Cons: None that I can think of!

Other Thoughts: Great Newegg service as always!

2 out of 5 eggsFailed after about 1 minute

Pros: Price is good, reviews from other Newegg buyers are positive.

Cons: My card failed after running about 1 minute. A real bummer!

Other Thoughts: I will RMA through Newegg because the manufacture has a 17 minute hold time for support and RMA. Newegg's RMA process is painless. I will test the replacement and update my review if that card lasts long enough to test it out. PS. I tested the card in two other systems, just get a black screen and locks the motherboard.

Manufacturer Response:

We are very sorry to hear that this has happened. Please email me at neweggsupport@xfxforce.com with the details of what happened.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Amazing bang for a buck, fan is quiet and effective. Very happy that I bought it! And worked great with my useless 300 watt PSU so I didn't have to buy a new one! Definitely a huge improvement from my GeForce 6100. :P

Cons: The drivers the CD came with cause my PC to crash on occasion, but I just downloaded more recent ones and the problem was fixed.

Other Thoughts: Runs CoD4 on high and C&C3 on highest settings.
System specs: 2 GB DDR Memory, AMD Athlon 64-x2 2.2 GHz CPU, 300 Watt PSU

5 out of 5 eggsRemote Desktop issue fix

Pros: Works fine

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Previously I complained about the Nvidia driver breaking remote desktop... if anybody cares you can fix this bug by increasing the size of the session image space via a registry key. Add the following key:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SYSTEM CurrentControlSet Control Session Manager Memory Management]

"SessionImageSize"=dword:00000020

This allows you to run the most current driver.

5 out of 5 eggsDecent card for price

Pros: This is my second card, first was without Zalman fan and they both have decent performance.
For those who care, both cards give a 5.9 on the "Aero" experience rating and 5.6 in gaming graphics with Vista.

Cons: None so far, knock on wood.

Other Thoughts: Don't bother registering the card with XFX unless you anticipate a failure, as the website just gets your info and redirects you to nVidia's website for the latest drivers.

2 out of 5 eggsDecent Card for the money but never got the rebate

Pros: Good card with zalmann heat sink, decent performance. Great newegg service as always.

Cons: The rebate issue discouraged me from buying any of XFX products as of now. I've never got the advertised $30 rebate. I've sent the form which I downloaded from newegg, after few months I received an email stating that I filled out an incorrect form? Impossible. I responded kindly explaining where I bought it and where I got the form from. They pormised to resubmit the rebate. Another 2 months go by. I've just received a postcard from them stating that they cannot honor my rebate because the newegg's invoice that I've sent along with the form "does not demonstrate purchase of the product required for the rebate". XFX you're on my black list now. $30 is not a big deal but when you advertise product with the rebate you should actually send it. You shouldn't make up stupid excuses why you cannot process the rebate.

Other Thoughts: Even though this isn't a bad product, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone just because of XFX customer service.

Manufacturer Response:

Please get a hold of me at neweggsupport@xfxforce.com. The rebates are actually handled by a third party company. We can work with them to get everything sorted out.

5 out of 5 eggsGood deal

Pros: Great performance for a low price. It's not for ultra high-end gaming but what did you expect for under $60 after rebate. The fan makes no noise that I can hear over my not-as-quiet case fans.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Steady 60 FPS in WOW all settings on max. Absolutely no lag upon zoning to org/shattrath.
