5 out of 5 eggsSolid card

Pros: This was a nice, solid card. It enabled me to play the games I wanted at reasonable levels. Very reliable. Sipped electricity even at full load.

Cons: The fan was a little loud.

Other Thoughts: The card finally failed last night, almost five years to the day it was ordered. The PC it was in was on 24/7 so this speaks to the card's build quality. Seven of the caps had partially ruptured, and the screen was just colorful, random gibberish. I got my monies worth from it; ordered another GeForce card from NewEgg.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Card

Pros: For the price this is a beautiful card. I bought it as a gift for one of my friends and this outperforms my supposedly better Radeon 3850 (AGP) by a long shot. Great card, if I needed something cheap myself and could actually use PCI-E then this would likely be at the top of my list of cards to look at.

Cons: None at all.

Other Thoughts: I didn't actually expect it to be as small as it is, and the fact that it only uses the PCI-E slot for power is very awesome.

5 out of 5 eggsjolly good card

Pros: Great graphics for my games! You can see the cards just perfect in solitaire. And in chess I can even tell the difference between the black and white squares.

Cons: I wish it was a 256-bit! It would run my backgammon so much better! I couldn't SLI for some reason i couldn't fit the other one in to the different size slot. Had to send it back.

Other Thoughts: Just upgraded to Windows ME! Im running an Intell pentium II, 128 MB of RAM, 12 GB hard drive.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great with Vista

Pros: Good solid card. Smaller than expected it to be, which is not very common these days with video cards. 512mb of video ram is good, especially with vista. It doesn't even need it's own 12v rail, in fact, it doesn't require any secondary power at all.

Cons: Its only 128bit memory, so it doesn't scream like some of the higher end cards. But if your looking for a PCIx1.0 card, this is a very nice option. Didn't charge an arm and a leg either.

Other Thoughts: Upgraded to windows vista ultimate 32bit. Old card was a 7900GT. Found out the 7900Gt is practically non-compatible with vista and it's drivers for nvidia. Scrambled screen on log in. Had to hack settings to make work. 8600GT works great. No problems at all. Two 19" lcd monitors, one at 1400x900 the other at 1650x1050. No problems at all.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Card

Pros: Gets the job done, splendidly.

Cons: None thus far.

Other Thoughts: This is my first build, and I've never had a computer that could actually run games, but this card really does the trick. My issue is the monitor can only handle 1280x1024, but all my games run fine maxed out on this. Would surely recommend this card to anyone, and plan on taking advantage of SLI very soon
