XFX 9800GTX
- Pros: Very very high overhead for overclocking. I have mine running at 725/ 1200 , but ive reached up to 780/ 1350 on the stock cooler. I just run it on the lower clocks cause im just more trusting of there stability. That and the card looks great.
Also , this thing runs COOL!!!! ... my old XFX 8600GT ran at 55C idle... this runs at 41C idle with the fan at 75% vs. 100% on the 8600GT. never seen it go above 62C on full load either so thats a plus..
- Cons: The box doesnt open itself for you and install the card too?
- Other Thoughts: This works great with my rig. I had gotten this with a Biostar TA770 A+ and wow its great. I have a AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+ , 3 gigs of ram... and this puppy... or is it a puppy.... more like a ..... rabbid wolf... or a ... ALPHA DOG!!
CRYSIS is now my Beeeeotch!!
- Pros: Incredible card!!
Now i can run Frontlines, gears of war,COD4,ect. at 1600x1200 all settings maxed,CRYSIS 1280x1024 all settings maxed!!!!.. This card stomps UT3 engine games......
Cant even here the fan running,i thought it was broke :)
- Cons: Huge card...A foot long
Will not fit in small cases,(i have a CM Stacker),takes up 2 slots..
My SATA ports were right in line with the end of the card,so i had to get SATA cables with 90o bends so they would fit under the card...
- Other Thoughts: I want it to have my children :)

XFX Outstanding
- Pros: Best bang for your buck today.
- Cons: A good size card. It takes a little re-arranging of parts to get it in your case. But that's no big deal really.
- Other Thoughts: Upgraded from an ATI X850PE-256MB so it had been a while since I purchased a video card. Man what a difference, finally out of the Dark Ages.
Awesome bang for your buck
- Pros: Low cost card that has awesome performance, even with a PCIe 1.1 slot. The only thing slowing me down now is my single core AMD64 processor. You will notice a HUGE increase in performance with this card.
- Cons: It is HUGE! I mean REAL huge. It made me go out and buy the SATA cables that bend at a 90 degree angle instead of the standard ones that are 180 degrees. If I didn't buy the cable I wouldn't have had any SATA ports.
My best card yet
- Pros: It is the best card i have ever had, I bought this comming from 2x's 8600gts in sli. This card out performs both of those by almost tripple. I was running AoC and would get a ton of lag with this card I get none. For the price its not bad at all, But you might want to look at the new ati 4k series that is out.
- Cons: It's huge that is all, If you don't have a full size case then don't bother buying it.
- Other Thoughts: I just purchased a gx2 260 I just was tired of cutting costs on things I really wanted, so I went for it.
