5 out of 5 eggsCRYSIS

Pros: this thing is amazing running crysis very high settings 4xx 1024x700 and hitting 47fps average and 65max in crysis is nice and this is with under clocking the card,i set the clocks to 550/1000 and didnt notice any fps drop just temp drops like 90 to 80c under heaviy load, and I started thinking what would happen if i droped the core and mem clock down to almost half in F.E.A.R. and the results were 74fps/167/432 min/ave/maxiun fps down to 67fps/135/333 ,,so about 7 fps drop on minium by lower the clocks to 50% and this was with maxium settings 1280x1024 in fear lol...i can picture my self getting water cooling but for now ill Be ok and after play crysis 6 hrs striaght on very high settings 4aa the card didnt get hot enough to shutoff and if i ran high settings instead that would lower the temps down 10 to 20c but its just cool to know u can run crysis the highest settings possible and still is very playable and im going to keep it on very high settings through the rest of the game!!!

Cons: can get a little to hot in crysis when stairing into the water falls up close, thats the only place i got it the hottest and i just let it sit there for 5mins stairing into the water fall just so realistic and the thing gets hot!!!!and cools down really fast when you turn away from the water fall..

Other Thoughts: 780i board and 280gtx sli crysis killer and when I do get sli going I'll play crysis all over again and again every time I get another 280gtx!!!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Amazingly powerful.

Cons: Makes loud humming noise when playing some games. Not sure about it but a lot of people online are talking about it being normal.

Other Thoughts: It is a pretty huge card and aside from the noise I would say I love it.

5 out of 5 eggsLove it!!!

Pros: This card is simply amazing, I can run every game on the market at 1900x1200 without even a hiccup. I'm even getting 35-50fps in Crysis on ultra high settings.

So far I haven't ran into compatibility issues that plague some cards. I definitely recommend this card... They even sent me a check when the price dropped!!!

Cons: Size could be a problem if you have a small case, this thing is huge.... I literally chuckled over its weight & size when I picked it up. If it weren't for my case's removable hard drive mount this card wouldn't have fit.

Other Thoughts: Wear steel toes when handling... I can't wait till the gpu utilizing apps start coming out.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for Crysis!

Pros: This thing is amazing! Crysis on MAX settings @ 1920x1200. Melts everything I throw at it. I WILL came back to XFX for all my PC gaming needs. :D

Cons: I can't eat it... >.>

Other Thoughts: Kinda big, and make sure your PSU can feed this bad-boy.

1 out of 5 eggsGOOD LUCK

Pros: Looks Nice

Cons: Not having the right PSU i had to get Corsair TX750W along with the card. After installing both, NONE of my 3D games would run. In fact all of them now crash with the the same errors "Stopped Working" Never had a problem with the games (Age of Conan, Assassins Creed, COD4, Fear, and DAOC) Sent the card back to xfx who then sent me another only to find the same repeatable problems. I now assume its either the power supply or the card is just Jacked up. Others have had simlar issues with no fix reported.

Manufacturer Response:

We are very sorry to hear that you have experienced this problem. If you experience the same issue with two card than the fault almost surely lies somewhere else in the system. Please contact our support team at xfxforce.com or me personally at neweggsupport@xfxforce.com and we can help you diagnose the problem.

5 out of 5 eggs$650?

Pros: Looks cool.

Cons: I have been thinking of buying this card. At $450 bucks yesterday, I was getting close to warming up the old Visa. But at $650 today, I think I will keep abusing my 8800GT.

5 out of 5 eggsWOW!!!

Pros: This card Rocks! Play COD4 at the highest resolution with all settings touned to highest at it doesn't blink. My kill ratio has doubled because I can see everything!

Cons: Needed to return orginal power supply because it didn't have a 8pin PCI AND 6pin PCI which is required to run this beast.

Other Thoughts: With the new 950w power supply I'm setup for adding another 280 later!
