Pros: Excellent card for all needs.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: The high end gaming snobs will probably tell you this is outdated and make it sound as though any new game it runs will be at 5 fps. However, for the rest of us who don't want to spend a fortune to play PC games, this is a great card.

Better cards can be had for the money

Pros: Replaced an EVGA 8800 GTS 320MB with a modest performance increase, although I miss the EVGA's quieter noise level and cooler temps. All solid caps. XFX has a double lifetime warranty that is transferable one time. I have personally dealt with XFX's RMA service and it is prompt and generous (they RMA'ed without an invoice).

Cons: Single-slot cooling solution blows hot air back into case. Fan is small, cheap and noisy. I keep the fan at 50% through RT and the noise is as much as I can bear. In a cool ambient temp with the fan controlled, temps are 46C+ at idle and can rocket up to 78C at load.

A little more money will buy you a lot more card now.

Other Thoughts: Received as an RMA replacement for an XFX 8800 GT Alpha Dog Edition. Within a year, the 8800 GT's fan started grinding against the cooler cover followed by a blown capacitor. This card seems to have slightly better board parts than its predecessor, but the puny cooler doesn't inspire much more confidence than the last one.

great little card

Pros: This is a great little card- no doubt this with AMD Phenom II and asus MOBO. win 7- pulling about 30-40 FPS in ICC 25 man- normally 60 FPS when not in 25 mans. Fan does not make much noise at all. Was really amazed with this.
