5 out of 5 eggsXFX Radeon HD

Pros: Here is a Video card that just keeps on working with not one glitch to speak of.
I have not left any Feedback for this because actually i forgot about it until the customer just broght in the PC for an upgrade.
I just updated the motherboard to a ASUS Z97-A LGA 1150 and installed this card and it worked just perfect. Even the drivers worked after getting the newer ones from ATI.
I really was suprised at the performance - To bad they no longer carry this Puppy as i am sure some would buy it for a Budget Card.

Cons: Not a 1

Other Thoughts: Should get a Free Dinner after it working so long and being able to install in an New Advanced type MoBo

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for the great review Train, we appreciate your kind words.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent Video Card for the Price

Pros: Easy to install
Good graphics
Clips for small form factor and larger towers + dvi,vga,s-video ports

Cons: No Fan

Other Thoughts: I originally got this card to upgrade my onboard video in small form factor pc (lowprofile) tower. I play WOW on this pc usually & needed a card & at the time of purchase (3 years ago) this card was excellent. After a while I added an additional case fan, because the card would get hot due to me playing more. The difference from the onboard to the card was night and day.Big improvement and the price was excellent. I recently upgraded to a 1gb card with a fan as the card was starting to go out. One thing I noticed is that the card did not just "quit" all together. If I powered down my pc and let it cool or switched to onboard for a while, the card functioned fine afterwards. This bought me a few days to shop for a new one. Dont get me wrong 3 year life for a video card is pretty good. I would advice anyone who is on a budget to get a $5-$10 case fan when buying any video card without a fan on it already. This little card was very good to me, but like most gamers, I worked it to death :)

5 out of 5 eggsNo trouble

Pros: Not a bad card for the price. No fan is a plus for some people.

Cons: I haven't had any problems with it, so the only 'con' is that it never was screaming fast. Given that I knew that when I bought it, it can't be counted as a bad thing.

Other Thoughts: I've had this card in a couple of machines now and it's runs just fine after all the time I have owned it. Good job XFX. I don't like their web site and their annoying javascript and tracking <used-food-of-a-bull>, so I don't start my searching for new products with them, but they are definitely a manufacturer that I consider when I am buying.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Little Card

Pros: Works exactly for what I wanted it for, dual monitors. I don't play any graphic intensive games with it. Price was great Installation was a breeze. Up and running in less than 15 minutes I just pulled the driver down from ATI I didn't even use the included disc.

Cons: none that I see. I am not using it for any major gaming or the s video.

Other Thoughts: I have had great luck with XFX cards so I stuck with what I know.

1 out of 5 eggsdefective

Pros: Low profile, quite.

Cons: Svideo out results in scrolling lines and flashing colors on TV

Other Thoughts: Just need it for an old HTPC but the svideo does not work properly so I am RMAing it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price

Pros: It works. It's cheap and it's good. S-video is of decent quality.

Installed easily in Windows 7

Have not had any technical difficulties with the card.

Cons: None I can think of

Other Thoughts: I bought this card as an interface via S-Video to my TV (no HDMI inputs on the TV) for streaming hockey games off of Yahoo. I must say I have been more then pleased with the results. The S-Video is clear and smooth even at full screen.

The card also works well using the digital interface to my monitor. I can safely say I will never go back to a VGA connection again. Yes the difference is that pronounced.

I really didn't have high expectations considering the cost of this card but I must say I am more then pleased with the results.

In my opinion for the money you really can't go wrong.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat HD Playback and VERY light gaming.

Pros: It can handle 720p and 1080p flawlessly.

Much better than the awful Intel chipset I had before.

Can handle a few games on med settings. There are videos of it maxing MW2 and other high demanding games, but It's installed in the older junker computer, not a gaming rig.

Can max out HL2. Gmod, Halo 1, and Wacraft III at 1680x1050 at 60 FPS

Fanless, no noise.

Super easy installation.

Requires no external power.

Easy to find and install drivers.

Comes with an S-video cable and low profile bracket.

Has a VGA port for those with older monitors.

S-video ports to hook up to an older tv.

Perfect for a media center PC if you are using an older Tv or monitor.

Cons: No HDMI port.

Can get hot under too much stress, you can hook up a fan for a ghetto cooler, but not a big deal to most.

Has shader issues in games, but its a sub $40 card, so whatever.

Other Thoughts: I installed this into my computer till I can get a gaming PC for christmas, I'm only 15, so It's hard to get money, and times are tough in this economy.

I have it installed into a VERY LOW end pc at the moment.

I can Max out a few games, but nothing at all recent.

Overall, I give this card 5 eggs. It's durable, nice looking, simple, easy to install, and I'll be definitely buy another XFX Radeon card when I build my rig.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat add on for integrated graphics PCs

Pros: This is a great add on for low end PC with integrated graphics. The power consumption is low, there is no fan generating noise, and the range of outputs allows it to be connected to anything: VGA, regular TV (on the S-video connector), DVI, and HDMI (with an adapter)

Cons: Doesn't look like you can run two analog displays at the same time. I had a VGA monitor hooked up and wanted to extend the desktop to a TV hooked to the S-video. No go. It was one or the other.

Other Thoughts: I bought this for a client who had a PC with integrated graphics. He was watching Netflix on his PC and wanted a way to get video over to his regular analog TV. This fit the bill perfectly. He only has a 250 watt power supply but it seemed fine driving video on his TV. Maybe a game would have pushed the power demand higher. Total system power in one online review of a 4350 was only 180 watts at full load so I felt safe. The 256 MB version was an option in this application but I wanted to give the client some headroom if he wanted to try some games.
