5 out of 5 eggsAmazing!!!

Pros: This card was amazing I played everything from GTA4,Crysis Warhead,BC2,Fry Cry 2,Red Faction,Ruse and all those other top notch games with this amazing card with no big issues! I'm new to gaming and this was my first video card so take it for worth it's worth. Again this card is amazing!

Cons: It's big! But the space it takes up is un-used so it's ok!

Other Thoughts: I will only buy XFX & ATI from now on!

5 out of 5 eggsA good midrange graphics card

Pros: A great card for gameplay at 1680x1050. Excellent built-in cooling solution provides for easy overclocking. It won't set any records in 3DMark, but that's not what this card is made for. This is an excellent midrange graphics card that should work very well for any game (except Crysis, of course).

Cons: Two slot card design may cause problems if you're space limited.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Fast, reliable, Double lifetime warranty. Outputs to my outdated HDTV over component much better than HD3870 or nvidia cards (which don't output to it at all).

Cons: Video sometimes clips when playing over component. This is primarily a problem with the TV though and not the card.

5 out of 5 eggsUpgrade From a 8600GT For Sure!

Pros: I was running an Nvidia 8600GT before this and it's like a night and day difference in graphics. Now I can actually see all the detail in the game. I run Battlefield 2142, COD4, EQ2, Spore, all cranked up to max settings no problem with the exception of turning a few things down in EQ2.

Nice solid card, and it looks nice too.

Cons: Some said the fan was loud and I didn't hear it until I hit full load but it was about the same as my case fans so not a big deal to me.

Seems to run a hair warm because it's GPU is right next to my north bridge chip so I am putting a better cooler on my north bridge to compensate just as a precaution.

Other Thoughts: I wish I would have a spent a hair extra for the 1GB version, but it won't matter when I get the second one of these for X-fire.

2 out of 5 eggsIf it works it may be OK

Pros: as a single card it seems quite good gets 6.4 and 6.4 in Windows 7 experience rating. Good heatsink and cooling shroud

Cons: 1 of the 2 I ordered did not work. XFX "support" is fast but complete garbage.

Other Thoughts: Trying to explain the problem to XFX was a joke. I don't think the guy even READ my message let alone the incorrect system info I provided from windows system information (wrong GPU type, no registering memory on Graphic card, etc.) before blaming it on my power supply or mobo (both work just fine with other cards) and trying to absolve them of all blame. I'll have to swap it thru Newegg and test out their RMA service, I hear it is good.

After a bad experience a few years ago this was my first and last attempt at using XFX products. I will NEVER purchase XFX ever again, many other companies with better quality controll, tech support and products. Get one of their models, pass this one by.

2 eggs for the 50% success rate. 1 out of 2 is really bad in my opinion. Add terrible support to the mix and you can understand that I'm being generous here.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Card...not for low end thou

Pros: this card can handle the newer games such as crysis and COD4 fine. Can Handle high res with high refresh rate

Cons: dont get this card if your still playing low end games such as CSS or BF2. Directx 9 support is bad. Get lower frames with this card than a 7600gts in CSS. no lag but low settings for a high end card.

Other Thoughts: For players on these type of games, get a directx 9 support card. its worth the headaches i spent trying to figure out why its performing horrible.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: Nice design, I always look for a card the exhausts outside my case. Fan speed is tolerable up to 80% while gaming, much better than my 4870. Card stays in the 40C's while gaming. Great overall performance, with OC, great price, and life warranty make this the best 4850 on the market. Best card for gaming 1280x1024, but will also game high FPS @1920x1080 on older titles.

Cons: CCC for Windows 7 not fully operational yet. Still some bugs to be worked out. Main complaint being no display resolution options tab in CCC menu, you can only change them through Windows 7 menu's.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far, so awesome

Pros: Has a lot of settings in the control center and you can tweak it to get it just the way you want. Fallout 3 looks really nice on my system now! Its a great buy! High quality picture.

Cons: It came down in price after I bought it.

Other Thoughts: World Peace would be nice.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth Every Penny

Pros: I am really happy with this card so far. I upgraded from an x1900 and the graphics all look really great on all of the games I've played since I got it.

Cons: It can run a little hot, but a VGA cooler can help and having a case with sufficient airflow helps too. So far it hasn't shut down from overheating, even after playing games on max settings, so it's not a big enough deal for me to remove an egg.

Other Thoughts: It's a very good card for the price. It handles games really well.

5 out of 5 eggsxfx 4850 512

Pros: pretty great. im only playing older games right now, but when i upgraded to a 22 inch lcd, from a 19 inch crt, my old 9600xt wouldnt cut it anymore(insert laughs here). oblivion is maxxed, so is bioshock, anxious to try some dx 10 games, ill update

Cons: oddly enough registering has been a pain, tried with serial number (not found), the usual log-on pop up(website temporarily down), and when i did finally get on to register, my card, and xfx, were not to be found.

Other Thoughts: it is about the size of a brick. heh, much lighter, but really, its like the size of a brick. clipped right in, fired right up. not blocking anything vital on my mobo. im happy
